After my water heater began to leak, I called Sears Home Services to replace it. I spent the next morning with a technician, & they assured me they would repair it that day and took my credit card payment. A few hours later, I got a call from a local plumbing service asking me when I would like to schedule the installation. Surprised, I said, "I'm here waiting for you." "Oh, no. We can't do it today," was their reply. I explained that I took the day off to meet the technician and that I couldn't take another day off. I also mentioned that I was promised it that day. Essentially I was told I could either schedule the installation for the next day or cancel the service. I cancelled the service. Then I called Lake Cook Plumbing. They had a technician at my house within an hour. He informed me he had a water heater in the truck and could have it done that day. Three hours after I initially called, I had my new water heater installed. Do yourself a favor, don't waste time with anyone else!! Mike E. 04/22/14 |

Philip was courteous, on time and performed the repairs well. Not a fan of the constant upselling and including the service agreement in the price. Being in sales, its a turn off since I know what you are doing. workmanship was done efficiently and in good time. Your prices are on the high side like Black Diamond and will shop more next time. Wonderful, timely service from Mike Eck. Replaced water heater and it's piping & fittings, replaced garbage disposal and installed new kitchen faucet and checked and cleaned basement drain. Phillip was GREAT! he came out on a Sunday when out sump pump failed, fixed it and provided a new sump pump with a 3 year warranty! I was so happy with his professionalism, responsiveness and service I gave him Polish donuts to take home to his family.

his is the second time we've used LC Plumbing and have been quite satisfied with their service. Mike E. was our technician and he was very polite, courteous and very knowledgeable in fixing and repairing our leaky bath tub faucet. Mike E. provided excellent after-hours service to help us replace a gushing sump pump. Was a stressful situation for us, but Mike was detailed in telling us what was wrong, giving multiple options to fix/replace, and providing advice for regular maintenance. I was impressed immediately when I called for service. The rep listened to my request for service and promised to help get a service tech to my home for the needed repairs asap. Within 30 min I had a call back from him saying a tech would be at my home within an hour.

He was prompt and showed up not even an hour after I called about having a water heater installed. He was polite and courteous and cleaned up the mess after the job which was a huge plus. Also, he discovered that a sump pump was bad along with the check valve. He explained everything to me before he started, so I would know what work would be done and how much it would cost. He had all of the parts on the truck, so he didn't have to make a separate trip. Originally, he said that it would take about two and a half hours to complete the job to fix all of the problems, but actually finished a half hour earlier as he was able to work on both the water heater and sump pump at the same time, saving time. We have used LC Plumbing several times before and have always very satisfied with the service. Earlier today I called to set up an appointment to have a leaky pipe looked at. Within 30 minutes Phillip was at our home and a few hours later the problem was fixed. He went the extra mile by checking on our sump pump and labeling several important valves for our future reference...he even brought a few treats for our dog. I was very impressed with the service of the company from start to finish. When I called in for the initial call they told me they would call me back once they knew if they could come out on a Saturday without extra charges. The office called me back in 1 hour to make appointment. Phillip called me on Sat. morning to confirm his arrival time. He was very pleasant and explained what needed to be done.
