Steven T. Came to our home to repair the air conditioner. He called 10 minutes out and was there on time. He accessed the situation and found there was an old part that need repair that he didn't have on his truck. He left for about 15 minutes, got the part, and made all the repairs. He did an excellent job. I like Home Smart but they need to get more telephone operators so you are not left waiting on the phone so long. I waited more than an hour to talk to an agent. Had to have my furnace replaced. Luis S was my service pro from Excel Energy along with his assistant Kenneth P were very professional and thorough. Every question was answered and clearly explained. They left areas clean and cleared out all the items brought in used in the installation of the new furnace. Luis took the time to complete a final check of the gas lines next to the furnace and found a leak in a valve leading to the water heater. My hot water heater needed to be replaced. The installation was completed by Luis S. and Kenneth from Home Smart. I am completely satisfied with the installation and no problems were encountered. The new water heater was fatter than the old one and I was concerned that this would be a problem however the new water heater was installed and fit nicely in the small space. Luis showed me all the work that they had done, explained all the operational instructions clearly and answered all my questions. Luis explained all the code updates that were made. They had laid down protection for my carpet before the installation began and removed everything when it ended. The area where the water heater was installed was left very clean. Luis conducted a gas safety check of the new water heater gas connections and even checked the furnace gas connections.
