Danny is the best. He has serviced my HVAC system for many years and worked his magic to get it cooling properly when the builder's HVAC company couldn't make it work. They were idiots, however Danny is not and I trust him with his abillity. When he has not been able to come out, others from Xcel have cleaned the HVAC and they were good, as well. Danny Stacy has beem my technician for several years, his work is phenominal and he takes the time to explain everything easy for me to understand a bit more about my AC and Heater system. Art C. serviced my air conditioner, both as a repair one week, and the next week for the annual check-up. He was on time, friendly, professional and explained all that he worked on. Manuel, Darrell, and Greg were an exceptional team. I was so impressed by the way they seamlessly divided the tasks pertinent to the project to maximize efficiency. Their work ethic was exceptional as they respected each other and me and my property.
The team arrived on their scheduled time. Darrell began his work on preparing the furnace for the AC installation. He was so gracious as he made the trip via stairs numerous times down to the basement which was less than cleanly. His workmanship showed both skill and well-deserved confidence.
Manuel was stationed outside in very hot, windy, and confined conditions. He directed lots of the project so well and kept me apprised so often of what was being done and what the projected timing looked like. Manuel's skill, knowledge, and communications are a credit to Homesmart.
Greg is a terrific support team member. He evaluated all the materials he brought to the job and actually replaced parts the night before to insure that nothing was damaged or missing from what was necessary to do the job correctly. He takes good initiative to support his co-workers.

Manuel, Darrell, and Greg were an amazing service team. They worked so well together by dividing the tasks and efficiently and skillfully completing the job. Darrell arrived first and on time and immediately began all the prep. work. He explained what the process would be. Greg was a great troubleshooter and took initiative to check all the parts before delivering them and actually found some damaged materials the night before and exchanged them to be efficient on my job. Manuel has serviced my account in the past. He is diligent, knowledgeable and a great asset to your company. He kept me posted on the job status at all times and took time to explain what he was doing and it's effects. All 3 service reps were so respectful to me and my property. They worked under difficult conditions --extreme heat, strong winds, having to climb up and down stairs to my basement all day and dealing with less than cleanly conditions in the furnace area. When I made the appt. on the phone, I was told that it had to be one year + one day after my appt. for 2013. That keeps moving it up each year. My technician, Art, said that is not true and that it is just once a calendar year. Hope Art is correct when I make next year's appt.!1 06/02/14 |

Did and excellent job. Explained things well. Set the thermostat for the full 24 hour cycle. Serviced water heater, furnace, and AC. Checked the humidifier filter. We replaced the furnace filter. Barry Hendrix arrived to service my air conditioner per my Homesmart Plan. No one other than he had ever found the large hole on top of the supply run in my furnace room which was installed new in 2001, therefore having caused my air conditioner and furnace to run inefficiently throughout the last 13 years. I myself never noticed the hole as it was on top of the supply run. Barry covered the large hole and my air conditioner is now running better than it ever has. He also moved my door switch to make it easier for me to change my filter which was always a problem. Barry went over and beyond!!! We need more people like him in this world. Thank you Barry! I am 76 years old & my daughter who lives with me had just had surgery. Our hot water heater went out. We needed help quickly. I called Home Smart and immediately got attention. Within hours Kelly arrived and temporarily fixed the water heater and ordered a part. The part arrived the next day and Kelly came back to repair it, as scheduled. Kelly has been our HomeSmart Service Pro now for about 6 or 7 years. Since he has been we've not had a single problem. I think maybe there was something simple a few years ago, and he came right out and fixed.
