After quickly completing the job the team was at my home to do, Luis Sanchez stayed on to help address an additional complaint I had that the heat blower was too loud. He made adjustments to the furnace operations until I was happy with the sound level. He also helped with adjustments to the thermostat. Luis S went way beyond normal customer service and did so late on a Friday afternoon. I am able to avoid waiting for another technician to come out and help with the noise. I was extremely please with the installation of my new furnace. Luis S. was very efficient. He kept me informed as to what was going on with the installation. We had our annual furnace tune-up this morning. Randy B with HomeSmart from Xcel Energy was our service technician. He called ahead and arrived on time within the promised window. He worked very diligently to make sure our furnace is in tip-top shape and kindly replaced our furnace filter at the same time. Randy is very friendly and professional. We pay $40 a month to Homesmart to fix our appliances. Keep in mind, we pay this every month when needing anything or even contacting Homesmart. The first time we needed this service, the ice maker on our 8 month old refrigerator went out. Homesmart sent out its 'technician'. Withing 10 minutes of fixing our ice maker, the 'technician' rendered our refrigerator inoperable, and not inoperable where more fix it was needed, it now needed to be trashed and a replacement, that the make and model wan not even shared with us even after repeated attempts to find this information. Multiple calls and days waiting for a response from Homesmart turned into, "you need to talk with the contractor." What? Have my checks arrived to your business on time? You are sending me back to the same incompetence you sent me to in the first place? Terrible. Homesmart has been a terrible experience. Take a little ownership in your subcontractors * ***. Luis was great. He was very meticulous with his work when installing my new hot water heater. I watched most of the installation and he gave much thought to each configuration step before he proceeded to implement it. He double and triple checked everything to make sure it had been done correctly before moving on to the next step. The end result was perfection.
