Everything about this company is customer service. I called them (randomly) because my 2-year-old air conditioning was running but not cooling the house. The office person gathered my information and I hung up thinking "they must be the owner". They scheduled someone to come out the same day in the early evening and said they were going to send a photo of the individual who would be coming out. But shortly after I called, they called me back and said someone could come within the hour. Mike appeared - magically he'd been working on my neighbor's house on the next street who had the same issue as I did. I must say that almost immediately I sensed he wasn't your everyday repair guy. I work at home and he was very respectful of my time. He discovered the issue (a packrat had chewed the wiring), and repaired it within minutes and charged me a competitive rate. I mentioned another issue that I had with the ac - caused by the poor workmanship of the a.c. installer (from a different company) - and he gave me a written estimate - and a really good description of how it could be resolved - and an estimate to resolve it that was far below what I was expecting for the work involved! The best part was my house was getting cool as we discussed the 2nd issue. I can highly recommend this company - and Mike.

This company was amazing! We had a horrible experience with a well-known brand previously, so I was reading reviews to find a new one. Hays was perfect. We called because our A/C was turning on but would not cool. When Xavier took my call, he was professional and compassionate. He heard my youngest daughter (age 2 1/2) talking in the background and immediately looked to get us an earlier appointment. Mike came out, he was professional and courteous, and it took him only a few minutes to know what the problem was. Unfortunately, the part that was needed was a week away. We paid for the 2 day shipping to get the part here, but we were still going to be without air conditioning for 2 days. In 100 degree weather, apparently nobody involved thought this was ok. The very next morning, at 10 am, I received a phone call that he part had gotten there earlier than expected and they were scheduling it to be installed that evening. Mike arrived an hour ahead of schedule and installed the part well within the estimated time. He even checked to make sure it was working properly and cleaned out before getting ANY payment details. Let me reiterate that for anyone that didn't catch it. They put a rush order on a part without any payment information. I was flabbergasted. This is the way to do business. True professionals and their customer service is the best I've seen. Thank you, Hays.

Had an appointment scheduled for the 9 - 11 a.m. slot to install air scrubbers and a safeTswitch. I was called by Hays' office (Xavier) around 8:45 to let me know that Mike was on his way to my home. Mike arrived promptly. He was very professional, thorough, and very courteous. He took the time to explain the products to us again. We are very pleased with Hays and will continue to use them for our Heating, Cooling, and other repairs. Thank you so much!

I called Hays heating and cooling and the lady who answered the phone couldn't have been more pleasant. She quickly called out to a tech and said he would be there in 2 hrs. I then got a confirmation call noting who my tech was so I could identify him by name. Jerry the tech was running 5 min late and called to update me on his location and eta. We called Hay's this morning, on this 96 degree day, and it was getting pretty toasty in here; before Frank arrived, and our ac is now working again! So thankful for the amazing service! I got the call that our tech, Frank was on the way (right on time) and then an e-mail showing his picture; which was so nice! He was awesome. Opened up the side of the ac, and found the part that was broken. He could have said it was something more expensive, or try to push buying a new unit; since they are very old ac's. Replaced the part, and checked both units, and cleaned them. Highly recommend Hay's! Thank you Frank; for cool air on this hot day, and such fast, wonderful service! You were so helpful!!

Decided to try Hays based on customer reviews. Got appointment scheduled for the very next day. Really like that Hays: 1)calls to let you know the technician is on the way, and 2) emails a photo of the person doing the service call. Mike, the technician who came out today, was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He took the time to explain how the ac units worked, how to maintain them properly. He also took the time to answer other questions I had regarding future service calls, etc. Great customer service! Thank you Mike!! We'll be using Hays in the future thanks to you!

I asked for 2 quotes. 1 quote to replace my nearly 30 year old AC with a new two stage 14 seer unit. He told me that it was a waste of time since the prices would change before I was ready to "pull the trigger" 1 quote to get my evaporative cooler up and running since it has not been used since at least 2009. He told me that everything was already fine and that I needed a plumber since there was no water going to the unit. First, there IS water going to the unit. Second, the unit needs a new motor, pads, pump, thermostat... NEVER, EVER, will I recommend your company. I got a perfectly respectable company to come out and give me both quotes. They are also very competitively priced. I'm sorry that I wasted my time going to the property, waiting for your tech, and then listening to his baloney.

I bought my air condition / heating system from Hayes almost 2 years ago. I have had to call them 3 times to come back and look at my new system. Normally that would make me upset, But not so with the Team at Hayes, they have came out each time that i have called, on time, courteous, and willing to do what ever it took to fix the issues. and each time they have left this customer satisfied. It is a rare find today where a company actually cares about their customers happiness. They will continue to be my number one choice for AIR & HEATING.

We have had very positive experiences with Hays Cooling and Heating. In December, we called to have a noise checked out when the heat came on. The next day, a tech came out, inspected our unit and fixed a few minor problems. We were able to schedule the A/C inspection for spring in a timely manner. Austin was our technician. After getting a call to confirm the day and time, he was punctual and introduced himself. He then checked everything inside, changed the filter, then went outside. When finished, he did a great job explaining what issues we might be facing in the future. Never pushing to do the work the same day. He e-mailed an estimate so that we would have it when we're ready Austin was efficient, friendly and professional.

I have two AC units and have to get them checked annually to maintain a Trane manufacturer extended warranty. I had been using a company called Service Experts, but I got tired of the no-call no-shows and poor customer service. I decided to pick another company and selected Hays based upon the number of excellent reviews. I called and scheduled an appointment. A pleasant young woman took my info and said that I would be getting an email with picture of the tech the day of the service. I never received the email, but did get a phone call about 45 minutes prior to arrival. Jerry was the tech. I found him to be pleasant and professional. He took pride in his work and spoke highly of his company. He went into the attic and checked the air handlers. This took around 20 minutes per side. Then he went outside and checked the ground units. Freon and capacitors checked out to be fine. Total time spent at my house was around 1.5-2 hours. The cost $79 per unit. Constructive criticism: My previous company charged around $120 to check both units and to me seemed to do a little more. My previous company would blow out the condensate lines then pour water down the lines to ensure that they are open. This company did not do that. I feel that the price is a little too high for what I received, but I knew the price going in, so I cannot really complain too much. It would be nice to get a discount for a second unit. A second issue I had was the arrangement for payment. The technician was required to manually punch in my credit card number into a tablet-type device, including my 3 digit security code. In no way do I think Jerry would try to do anything wrong. I just feel my credit card would be a little more secure if it were swiped and then only the last four digits appeared on the receipt. This is something the owner should consider to discourage any funny business. Over-all, I rated this company 4 out of 5 stars, as I saw some room for improvement. I will gladly do business with this company in the future and hope my suggestions are considered.

Timely Response and Excellent Service Have had Hays Cooling, Heating and Plumbing for several years now. Always very polite at front desk and service personnel. Do very nice job servicing my a/c units. Have never had a complaint about their response time and service on a/c units. This company has serviced my old a/c units, and most recent installed two units on my house, Work was excellent and very fast. They continue to provide followup service and periodic maintenance through my contract agreement.

Hays has serviced my Trane unit for over 4 years under a service agreement. Great company. Great service. Friendly technicians. They call first for an appointment, call when they are on their way over and arrive promptly. I always receive some advice on how to get more benefit from my unit, which I appreciate as it is now about 10 years old and still going strong. Highly recommended. Today, Frank serviced my unit. As are all the other techs, he was efficient, personable, knowledgeable and quick.
