Super Company: Jeff serviced my two Trane A/C-Heat units. He was a very pleasant person to deal with, worked efficiently, gave me some helpful hints, and was very friendly. He also did not try to sell me something (unlike I have experienced with another company in the past)! The Hays Cooling & Heating LLC company has serviced my units since 9/2010, and I have alway had excellent service and help from not only the technicians, but from the office personnel, to even the owner! Hays' appointment process is easy and convenient and the do a great job keeping you updated via email and cell phone on when the service technician will arrive at your home. Thad, our service tech, was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained everything he was going to do include options for repair. My only beef is that when we purchased the service plan from Hays' we were told that if we had a problem it would bump us to the top of the list, so I was disappointed when when we were given a next day service appointment when our AC unit died and was blowing hot air (June in Phoenix!! :( ).

Hays Cooling and Heating is one of the best companies around for your cooling and heating needs. I used them a few months ago to install a water heater and Ian Bentley was courteous professional and just an all-around great guy. Today, Mike Santiago came to repair my air-conditioning unit which suddenly died yesterday. After calling the company who originally installed it and being told that they wouldn't be able to come till next week I called Hays and they indicated that they could do next day service. I envisioned all kinds of charges for various parts, and was absolutely thrilled when Mike indicated it was just a burned out/frayed wire on the outside unit. The bottom line is that my charge was just the very minimal service charge and about $10 for a replacement wire. Mike was a gentleman, totally professional and extremely honest. I highly recommend Hays for your cooling and heating needs.

Excellent service. Hays sent Mike out on a Sunday with record breaking 118F heat when many other companies could not accommodate us. Mike quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Thanks for a great job, Mike!

They were even able to come out earlier then anticipated! My only problem is with the HVAC companies themselves. Why does a $15 part cost me $259 to install in less than 30 minutes??? It appears to be the going rate but it's ridiculous. However, Mike was great!

Awesome, quick service! My A/C took a dump and stopped blowing cool air. I checked for a service with great reviews and this company lived up to the hype! When I called I was told a tech would be here between 7p-9p. This would mean I would have to suffer for 9 to 11 hours. I get it, stuff happens. To my grateful surprise, I received a call back in 5 minutes to be told someone would be here in 30 minutes...HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY!! My hero Thad appeared at my door! For a split second I thought about bowing to his mercy and kiss his feet...thats how happy I was! Before I knew the air conditioning God's blessed me with cool air. I could swear I saw a look of approval in my dog's eye! Thad was quick, thorough, and courteous. Great job! I will definitely use them again to service my A/C in the future.

Messing with your A/C is no joke when it is over 100 degrees outside. So I called Hays. The technician, Manny, was great! He showed up on time, was professional and was able to get the new thermostat installed quickly. He showed me how to get everything set up and good to go. And I love a company that has shoe covers when they come into the house! Will definitely save their number if I need it again...which I hope is a very long time.

A/C not cooling on Saturday Night, called Hays Sunday Morning and Travis arrived within an hour. A/C was fixed and we had cool air again. Travis was knowledgeable and efficient. As part of their annual service plan, we paid a fair price and have the comfort of knowing they will come quickly when we need them. This was a great experience with Hays Cooling and Heating!

Hays Cooling and Heating has always helped me in a pinch. Last night, my tenant called to tell me that the air coming out of his ducts was no cooler than the room. The impending heat wave inspired me to call Hays first thing this morning. Hays has always provided prompt service, and Mike was there in a few hours, and replaced a bad fan motor and recharged the coolant. It was extra great that he had the correct fan motor on his truck - no need to order the parts and schedule another trip. My tenant called to thank me this afternoon for the prompt response and unbelievably cold air coming out of his ducts.

Travis is great. I had a tech from another company come out and tell me that our AC unit needed a new $600 control board. Sounded suspect, so I got a second opinion and glad I did. Turns out my thermostat was wired incorrectly, and he fixed the problem in no time. Hard to find an honest and competent company in the valley, so I feel lucky to have found one.

Frank arrived even earlier than expected and went right to work. he had problem diagnosed in 10 minutes. he repaired the problem and did not try to sell me a new unit as we are moving in 30 days. he told me the problem (dirty coils) and gave me the option to clean them myself. Frank was very knowledgeable and helpful to get us back running. Extremely important in Phoenix when temps are over 100 frequently

Rich visited today and balanced the vents which is helpful because the new unit and duct-work changed the flow of the house. However, it was not explained to me by Jim (sales) that one vent would always sound like a train is coming through the wall from the increased air pressure. Rich (service) really didn't have too much to say other than it's due to the placement of the original duct-work and the increased tonnage of the unit. He thought maybe a new air vent might help. The fact remains that the sound is very distracting as it's in the room where I work 10 hours a day. I will try a new vent cover, but I am not one of your customers who will post to YELP praising the results. For the amount of money I spent with Hays to get rid of a really noisy furnace with a roof pack, this is new noise is a total let down.

Just a check-up this time, but they arrived early and worked quickly. The entire experience with this company has been outstanding, from the purchase of the new unit last year until now. Great prices and great people; I highly recommend them!

Because of the importance of having a working A/C in Arizona during the summer, I spent all day doing research to find a trustworthy and qualified company to service our A/C unit. I was able to narrow the many companies down to three. After calling each one of them I decided to go with the company that was my initial number 1 choice, Hays Cooling & Heating. At the first look, they were not the cheapest of the three companies, but there were the one that I definitely had the best feeling about. The girl on the phone was very nice and helpful. I asked a lot of questions and the answers I received were very informative. It was very easy to schedule the appointment at the most convenient time for me. Jerry came out and spent almost 90 minutes at our house. I was so impressed. We have a fairly new home and we are just out of warranty. Jerry took the time to take a look at a few things I was concerned about without appearing stressed for time. He never made me feel pressured. He appeared most knowledgeable and was very kind and well mannered. Of course, he also checked the A/C unit outside and he went up in the attic. When he came down he gave me an expensive flashlight and said he found it lying near the unit. I couldn't believe it. At that point I was absolutely sure I hired the right company. He could've easily kept it but he didn't : ) So nice to know there are still honest people/companies around. I hate the fact that the access door to our attic is located in our laundry room. Every time someone needs to get up there I have dirty fingerprints all over the ceiling. Not this time... Jerry brought a Magic Eraser with him and cleaned off all the fingerprints left from previous visits from other companies, even though he didn't get anything dirty. I am so impressed!!! He mentioned his boss requests all employees to do so and leave the area cleaner than before they arrived. I will definitely call Hays again. Since Jerry serviced our A/C it's been working better than ever before and I have peace of mind. Jerry did amazing work. They are not the cheapest when you first look at it but I feel the amount we paid was fair and I am absolutely satisfied. In the long run I believe Hays saves us the most money and nerves. Now I know why there slogan is "IT PAYS TO CALL HAYS". I am confident this is absolutely true. I hired THE BEST! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you Jerry! I already recommended Jerry & Hays Cooling and Heating to several other people.

I've been a customer of Hays Cooling and Heating for 10 years now. This "mom and pop" business NEVER forget where they started. They always believe in the "customer first" approach. Great techs in the field and the people who answer the phones are always on top of their game. Scheduling is always spot on and based on your schedule. Unlike the other "big name" companies that are only interested on selling you what they want to sell you, Hays techs sell you what you need, and offer a thorough, comprehensive explanation. They never push. They tell you and let it be your decision. If you are looking for the last A/C company you'll need, call Hays Cooling and Heating!! You will not be disappointed!

My Hays Trane Air Cond is two years old. It is excellent. Yesterday, however, the air condition was not working properly. Hays would have come, but I had an appointment at that time. They were are my home today. Manny, the service person, had a high level of expertise and within minutes zeroed in on the outside unit. A pack rat had gotten in to the housing and chewed a wired which had to be repaired. Manny helped me give the rat a proper funeral. The repair took a few minutes. Manny also suggested putting wire mesh over a large electrical opening where the rat had access. I did that. I highly recommend Hays.

Air conditioning goes out. Travis was out within 6 hours. He reviewed several things and diagnosed problem. Was there for less than hour. Stayed for few minutes to ensure cold air was on again and then left. Would highly recommend Travis and this company based on this experience.

I recently moved into my 2008 house and found one morning that one of the A/C units wasn't working correctly. I called Hays (which has the service contract on my previous house) and although it was a Saturday Frank showed up in the mid-afternoon, changed out some capacitors, checked the second unit and was gone in a could of dust with a hearty "Hi Ho Silver." He was friendly, efficient, neat, and very, very nice. Thanks, Frank.

Mike was a very nice young man...found some potential problems. Seems though that every time we have our yearly maintenance it is 500-600 dollars. That is twice a year (summer and winter). A newer maintained system should not cost you a 1000.00 a year. But thanks for taking care of us. Have not had an emergency yet since signing up for the maintenance plan with Hayes, and hope as per our converstation, being PMA customer, (we signed up for 3 yrs) that you will be out here quickly. We have have too many bad bad summers with no a/c for a week with Grandkids here, pets, and us. It is dangerous to not have cooling in summer in Arizona. And for us as well, we are getting older the heat is extremely hard on us as well. By the way, do you guys offer the new water cooled a/c that is available. I asked Frank last visit and he said he would check with you. I have not heard back. Thanks!
