After looking around for an HVAC company, I selected Hays based on the reviews online. Jerry and Brock came to my new home to install a couple of Wifi thermostats. The wiring from the A/C units did not support what was needed for the thermostat and it was not something that I wanted to attempt. They were on time, professional, and got the job done quicker than I could have hoped. I was going to sign a maintenance agreement with my previous HVAC company, but after the excellent service I signed up with Hays.

We're starting some renovation work at our house and the usual company we use wasn't available so I called Hays based on their reviews to get an estimate for modifying our ventilation system. The person who answered the phone was helpful and set up a time for Jim to come to my house two days later. Jim was right on time and even more helpful than I could have imagined. I told him some of the initial ideas I had for the remodel and he was able to explain multiple solutions ranging from DIY fixes to entire re-ducting options. Jim truly is an expert in his field. He is a pleasure to work with and goes above-and-beyond to ensure that you understand your current AC system and what needs to be done to fix/improve it. Whatever decision we make for our remodel, we will definitely go with Hays for this project and any future projects, thanks to the amazing customer service provided by both the office staff and Jim.

Overall Hays is great company. I've had some issues with technicians not being able to identify or fix a problem, but in both cases I eventually got Mike S. out to my house and he was able to resolve them. Hay's has always been very responsive and able to work around my schedule.

Great service. Thad and Brock explained everything that needed to be repaired to get a few more years out of my 17 year old unit! I would highly recommend. They also put covers over their shoes before coming through the front door so that was an added bonus. No dirt tracks in my home - nice touch.

I had 2, twenty-one year old Trane units at my house that were still running fairly well. Thought I was on borrowed time and decided to replace them. Received three quotes from reputable firms in the valley and they all came in about the same price range. The sales rep from Hays, Bill S., was very thorough in his presentation and fully explained the install processes. He took the time to explain how the install would be considerable better than what I currently had and that an actual "Follow-Up" inspection would be performed several days later to confirm the install was correctly done and that I was totally satisfied with the operations of the units. The installs were completed in one day as promised and everything was completely cleaned up and double checked. I am amazed as to how much of a difference in the comfort level there is now and how much quieter they operate. Difference between night and day. The driving factor of our decision to go with Hays was the Yelp Reviews. Hands down so much higher ratings than the competition. Not a doubt in my mind that we made the right choice! Don W. The diagnosis and solution I was given was incorrect and did not fix my heating unit. I had a second company come to my home and they correctly diagnosed and fixed my heater. I feel as though I wasted $70.

Had Bill S. out to give me a bid/cost on replacing both 20 yr old compressor units and air handler/furnaces in attic. He was very thorough, checked outside units first then spent time in the attic checking insulation and ductwork. We talked for a while, he explained the difference between the units he recommended and the return value of money spent. Knew his trade well and explained things in a very informative way. Very professional.

We won't ever use another heating and cooling company. This is the 3rd year we've used them and every single tech that's been out has been absolutely wonderful. Thad was our tech today and he was so great! Plus, the ladies that field all the phone calls are always pleasant and extremely helpful. Hayes is a one of a kind service company and so long as we need air conditioning (in Az that will obviously be forever) we will only use Hayes!

We're newcomers to Phoenix, were concerned about a check of our not-young A/C-heating system, and Hays was recommended. Carter was our tech, and we found him to be way-tops, describing the work he'd do, what he might find, what he actually found (basically, no immediate worries but things to keep in mind), and options to consider for our system. For us, a preventive maintenance program made sense, so we signed-up. During his visit, Carter also informed us about A/C-heating system workings, and gave us several practical, DIY tips for optimal performance from his own experience. Altogether, a highly impressive service experience. Even our dogs were approving - Woof!

Ralph was prompt and courteous. He explained all of the issues about each of our units. All of our filters were due to be changed but I did not have any at the house. He allowed me to go purchase the filters while he finished his work so he could change them for me. He gave great advice about the types of filters to use when was most appropriate at the time of the year.

Frank did an outstanding job servicing my heat pump which I have serviced twice yearly. He checks all of the major operating parts of the units so I don't have any problems at the height of the season. I have used Hays for my plumbing services and I am very satisfied with their fair price and service. As a matter of fact Hays services my family's 2 air conditioning units and they are very satisfied also with their service. Frank was on time as promised, explained what he did, and left the place in very neat condition. Whenever asked I always recommend Hays to my neighbors and so does my Dad.

Quite pleased with the follow-up and problem solving work on one of our heat pump systems. Carter and the Hays team are to be commended for doing the right thing for the customer with regard to standing behind the warranty even though some online sign-up was never submitted by the former owner. Kudos to Steve and Chris from a guy who was part of the team that sold the GE central air business to Trane in 1982. Carter, thanks again for not giving up until the issue was solved

It is now winter and the time when I have found out what Nate did to fix my Carrier air conditioner. The unit is over 10 years old and since the first winter it had been profusely blowing cold air into the house during coil defrost and for enough time to turn the house cold. I called back the people that I bought the unit from and they said there was nothing wrong. I called Carrier and told them, I called many other air companies and no one fixed the problem. Nate was out to do a routine tune up and after he was done he said that he had found a wire that controlled the units coil defroster and causally told me he hooked it up. Makes you wonder about the competency of quite a few heating and cooling companies. As I sit here the unit is working fine and I am not frozen out of my house in the winter! Thanks Nate
