I was very impressed in the very beginning when they first entered my home. They put on shoe covers which I was very impressed. I pretty much left them alone to do their work feeling very comfortable leaving them in my home. They found a minor problem with my AC/heating and I set up an appointment for them to do the repair. They both were very courteous and very kind. They explained everything that they did and what they found. They also replaced all of my filters. I use Hays Cooling and Heating for both my air-conditioning and plumbing needs.
Earlier this year they replaced my 18-year-old hot water heater and I was more than satisfied with the purchase and installation process.
They are a superior company and their representatives are top notch.
Today I had my semi annual air-conditioning inspection (I signed up for this service after using them a couple of times). Today's service representative was Carter, and he is professionalism personified!
They always specify a certain time range, and call before the representative is actually dispatched to let you know that he is on the way.

Hays came out to service our HVAC unit for our bi-annual preventative maintenance. First, they had me on a schedule and I didn't have to call them. I received a courtesy call half hour before our technician came out. Technician, Thad, arrived as scheduled and even early. Thad was very thorough and very pleasant to work with. I would also recommend getting the Preventative Maintenance Agreement as when summer comes and if your HVAC unit breaks down, Hays will give you priority service. Called Hay's Cooling at almost 4pm on Monday when our AC stopped cooling the house. Thought for sure they wouldn't be able to come out till the next day at the earliest since it was late in the day. Debra took my information and said she could send someone out between 5 and 7 but earlier if they had it. There wasn't any late day extra fees which I was surprised. Wasn't more than 10 minutes later that Eva called and said the technician had been dispatched. Mike S was prompt, courteous, and certainly knew his stuff. He figured out the problem very quickly. He also advised us on annual maintenance and things we may want to have looked at if the AC doesn't stay cool in the future. As soon as Mike left you could tell an instant change in temperature in the house. So we knew the AC was back in business. Never felt up-charged or pressured throughout the whole process. Mike S. came to my house with a hand shake and a big smile. He told me just what he was going to do and went right to work. He asked to use my hose and water to clean
the AC. He took his rag from his belt and washed of the out side of the AC. WOW!!!!!! Then he came down and told me what Hays offers to there costumers. I told him we will talk about it before are next visit from Hays. We had a contract with are other home in Surprise but was very disappointed to find out that it didn't transfer over to the new home in SCW. Mike should me just what he found and told me how it can be fixed and he sent us an Email so I can talk to my Wife about it. Then Mike made out the bill and
gave me a hand shake and bid me a good day until the next time when Hays comes to visit for the summer time.

I just had Frank Mata repair a rather tricky air-conditioning problem. He spent most of the day and was the most professional, courteous and personable gentleman. Once again, I am pleased with the service from this family owned company. I just can't say enough about them.
The rest of my review, as follows was written earlier this year.......
Today, Mike Santiago came to repair my air-conditioning unit which suddenly died yesterday. After calling the company who originally installed it and being told that they wouldn't be able to come till next week I called Hays and they indicated that they could do next day service.
I envisioned all kinds of charges for various parts, and was absolutely thrilled when Mike indicated it was just a burned out/frayed wire on the outside unit. The bottom line is that my charge was just the very minimal service charge and about $10 for a replacement wire. Mike was a gentleman, totally professional and extremely honest. I found this company using Yelp and picked it because of the excellent reviews. I was very pleased with the service. The AC unit at my home in Phoenix had stopped working. The tech that came to my home was able to find the problem in short order and let me know exactly what had happened to the unit and what he needed to do to fix it. I had spent all morning trying to identify and fix the problem myself, but when he showed me what had happened, I realized that I never would have found it on my own. That's the value of having an experienced tech show up! He was able to get my AC back up and running right away, and he even helped me set up a new NEST thermostat that I had purchased the night before. One other nice thing, the office called about 10 minutes before my tech showed up to let me know he'd be there shortly. Overall, I'm 100% pleased with Hays and I highly recommend them. When our 19 year old air conditioning system went down for the second time in 6 days we decided it was time to search for a new system. Our requirements: a great product and an equally great install/maintenance company. And we found both when we hired Hays Cooling and Heating. Our salesman, Bill, was professional, knowledgeable and patiently answered our questions. Install went well and was scheduled for the day after we made our decision. The follow-up to the install, just checking the system and fine-tuning anything he felt could have been done better, was a real plus and JR the Head of Install who came out to the house was another professional, courteous, knowledgeable employee of Hays. Mike S. is an outstanding Hays employee. He was the "master sleuth" that determined the underlying problem with one of my new Trane units.....after 2 previous technicians had attempted to manage a recurring problem! And, He just came out to complete routine maintenance on both units and we feel confident that everything was completed as it should be.
