We had some concerns about our air conditioner today 10/12 and called Hays, Lisa was amazing and said Mike would be out shortly! We never expected such prompt service. Lisa called back to tell us Mike S was on his way and he was here within minutes, checked the situation and resolved it within minutes. He also took the time to explain some functions on our thermostat to make our home more comfortable. THANKS Mike!

Frank did a thorough quick, neat job to replace our defective air handler fan motor, cleaned off the fan blades and made sure everything was ready to go. We were only with out air conditioning on half the house for one day. I'm not sure the *****CleanEffects electrostatic filters are any better than the old fashioned disposable filters, but that has nothing to do with Hays and their service team.

Definitely a 5 star Company and Technician I researched Hays cooling and heating on review sites in 2010 and called them to replace my aging Heat pump which was over 30 years old. They replaced the heat pump and the air handling system with a Trane system. I also had them install a Trane CleanEffects electronic air cleaner. Recently the air cleaner started to present error codes which the owner's manual service guide indicated was probably a faulty Field Charger. The unit was still under warranty for the part through Trane. I called Hays because they did a great job installing the whole system initially and they still have a 5 star rating on the rating sites. Mike S. came out within the time frame promised on Wed.Sept,9th, 2015. He diagnosed the issue as a faulty field charger and ordered the part. The office promptly called back 2 days later to schedule the follow up call for Tues Sept. 15th to install the part. Mike was scheduled to arrive between 11 am and 1 pm. The office called shortly before 11 am and advised that Mike was running late on his current call and rescheduled for the 1 to 3 pm time frame. Mike arrived around 1 pm and installed the part and stayed about 20 minutes to make sure no errors would display and that the issue was fixed. The original trip call was waived and I was charged only labor which was very reasonable. Great Company, Great service, Great technician.

Great experience on all fronts! I used Hays for some maintenance work earlier this year and when my AC unit recently decided it no longer wanted to be efficient, I reached out to Hays for a replacement. Bill S. walked me through models that meet my needs along with pricing which made it easy to decide. I had compiled a stack of quotes over the last year from other companies but never felt 100% sold. Hays gave me a great quote, quality product and service so it was a no-brainer. My HVAC system was replaced in one day within a reasonable working time. Bill gave me tips on how to remain cool during the work period. The crew: Bob, Dan and Robert were friendly, clean and very knowledgeable. To my surprise, Chris, the owner, came to check out the job too! I would highly recommend Hays to anyone who needs HVAC service or replacement. I do not have any complaints and know Hays will stand behind their work/product. By the way, you need pictures of Bob, Dan and Robert in your Service Pro menu :)

Our AC died late monday afternoon. I called Hays and they were able to send out a technician by 7pm to get it fixed. At first he thought it may be the condenser fan motor but noticed that it had recently been replaced. Steve T did some more troubleshooting and found that it was just the defrost circuit controller board that had failed. Finding the real issue he was able to get the unit up and running and get our house cooling down again. Steve saved us 800$. Hays has our business for good now.

We had an odd problem with our A/C unit, we bought the unit from Hayes. They were very professional on the phone and was able to come out the next next day, and I called at 5:00pm on a Friday. Frank was our service professional and he more than exceed our expectations for his knowledge, how courteous, gave great advice on the filters we should use for our unit and showed us how to clean the condenser. Very impressed with Frank and Hays Cooling and Heating...would definitely recommend to everyone I know needing a new unit or any repair work. Great job!

Outstanding!!!! Frank was professional and very knowledgeable. Found the the issue in ten minutes. He had the A/C working in less than 20 minutes. Then he completed the servicing on both units. He identified a capacitor on the second unit that was reading at or below minimum recommendations. He was honest on how long it would last, six weeks to six months maybe longer, it just depended on our comfort level. The price was very fair, a lot less than we thought for the rereplacement of two capacitors and service agreements on the units. We will use Hays and Frank for all of heating and cooling needs.Tom

We were gone for 2 weeks and upon our return we heard this terrible noise coming from our air conditioner. We called Hays in the morning and explained the problem. They said they would have a service technician over that afternoon, and sure enough, Frank M. from Hays arrived before the estimated time. Frank diagnosed the noise problem as a fan motor going bad and gave us several options for repair. We decided to go with OEM parts because it was slightly less expensive than generic parts. Frank explained that he didn't have the OEM parts on his truck but he did have the generic parts. Since our AC was still operating we told Frank we would wait another day for the OEM parts. Frank arrived the following day as promised and repaired our AC. The timing was perfect because the AC died about 2 hours before he arrived. Frank was very courteous and professional and knew what he was doing. I was very happy with the work and told Frank that he deserved 2 gold stars and 6 attaboys. He works for a good company.

Thank god for Hays and especially Jeff. Woke up from a nap, 90 degrees in my house. Call Hays and they were here within 2 hours. Jeff was unable to fix my air conditioning that night but he was back promptly the next day with the parts and now all is right with the world. Fair price, great work. Thanks! 10/10 would use again!

This is a great company. Had a problem with one of my a/c units going out. I called and they came out first thing the next day--7:00 am. It turned out it was just a minor issue; lose wire from service that another company performed. Steve fixed it and checked the unit over and even changed out the batteries on my thermostat. Note: They installed my three Trane units in 2012. I plan to use them in the future for all my service needs. If you need a new a/c talk with Bill at Hays Cooling. Thanks Steve!

The only thing I would suggest, especially living in Arizona, is that on any AC service trip, check the coolant load while you are here. If it needs some, lets do it while you are here.

AC not blowing cool air, 95 degrees in the house and 100 degrees outside. Many people like myself, have asthma or other breathing issues so having the AC go out is a EXTREMELY critical. Called Hays and Mike was here within 30 minutes, replaced condenser (under warranty) and back blowing cool air within an hour. Thank you Mike for the super FAST response!

Mike came out to my home Monday due to the fact that the downstairs air was trying to cycle on, but would turn off within a few seconds. I requested Mike specifically because of his professionalism and expertise when he came out for my other unit earlier in the month. He arrived on time, assessed the issue and promptly resolved the problem. I will continue to use Hays in the future and recommend them to all of my neighbors. My AC stopped working last night, so I gave Hays a call first thing in the morning and they scheduled Steven T to come out to help. Steve is a friendly and knowledgeable guy. He explained what he's looking at throughout the process so I understood what was going on. He was pretty quickly able to locate the real issue and replace a faulty switch. Unlike the tech from another company that came out last month for a similar issue, who just wanted to throw parts at it until it got going, obviously he didn't get get everything. The only thing that the scheduler from Hays could have been more clear about is that I would be charged a diagnostic fee ($80) AND an hour of labor ($90) to do anything else. So the 5 minutes to replace a switch that had to be checked as part of the diagnostic anyway, cost an hour of labor to replace. Would be better to have been told it's $170 if the tech had to do anything more than come in and turn it on. Either way, my house is now cool, Steve was great and the staff at Hays is extremely friendly and helpful!

We always call Hays for our home and a few rental properties we own. They are always prompt to set up appointments, on time, professional and fair priced. Steve helped us recently with a bad compressor in our rental. He worked late and really diligently to get the work done for our renters. I've always felt like the Hays techs are honest and trustworthy. Super 5 stars for Steve!

I had a problem with my AIr Conditioner in Surprise at my Condo. It was blowing only warm air.MIke came out and was their in a timely manner. The main office called me and let me know that Mike was on his way. He diagnosed the problem right away. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I absolutely love this company and all of their employees. They put two new AC units on our house last year and did an outstanding job. We purchased the service contract as well so they do all the maintenance as well. We just had a minor issue this week so I called for them to come out. They were able to get someone to the house super fast and all was resolved in less than 24 hours! Our service guy Mike, was amazing and has outstanding knowledge in his field. No questions have ever been left unanswered. Whether you're looking for a company to just do service, or need a completely new system, Hays Cooling & Heating should be your only call.

My AC stopping putting out cold air, so I decided to contact a more well known company and Hays for estimates. They were both able to come out same day, but the more well known company misdiagnosed the problem and was going to over charge me for it. Steven T from Hays found the real problem, was able to fix it fast, and charged a hundred dollars less then the other guys. A real life saver in this July heat.

First of all, getting anything repaired you're unfamiliar with is scary as you have to take people for their word. Our AC went out at late on a July night. I'm 8 months pregnant and have a 3 year old on top of it. We suffered through a disgusting night and at 5:45 am I got on yelp to try my luck at a company. Hays had great reviews and were and answered my call as the sun was rising. They scheduled a time and were on time! The technician, Jeff, was kind and courteous and got right to work. He came in to tell me he didn't have the right piece and left to get the piece and was back so quick I couldn't believe it. He fixed it, added freon and my air was up and running. He told me about the preventative care package but didn't pressure me to buy it. He didn't pressure me about anything. We ended up adding the preventative care package so we can have them check our heater in the fall and our AC again in the spring. This was a pleasant end to an uncomfortable day. Thank you Hays - I will gladly recommend you!
