On the hottest day of the year my AC kicked the bucket. I called Hays, and had the great pleasure of having Mike as my technician. He had finished a job near me, and was able to come to my home four hours ahead of my scheduled appointment. Mike is polite, professional, and best of all very good at his job. Within forty-five minutes he diagnosed my AC issue, made the repair, and quickly the 90 degree interior of my home was becoming a distant memory. I hope that I don't need to make any emergency calls for this kind of repair, but when I do, I will be calling Hays Heating & Cooling, and asking for Mike!

My scheduled A/C check-up time was between Noon and 2pm; had to call about 3pm to check the status. Technician arrived just after 4pm. I'd taken the day to work from home, so it wasn't a big deal, but still kept me tied to the house for longer than I'd anticipated. The technician, Dominique, was GREAT. Professional and friendly. Did a great job breakin' down what was working well, and what could potentially need some service. Pros and cons of maintenance. Hope he's on the job next time we call; I'll probably try to request him.

Our service professional, Frank, went above and beyond to make sure our AC unit was properly fixed. He was polite, on time and friendly. He took the time to explain everything and gave us several suggestions to improve the performance of our air conditioner. Thank you!

Justin did a very thorough job and had the best interest of the Customer in mind when suggesting any additional work. He spoke very highly of working for Hays. My only critique is I did not receive a call 20-30 minutes prior to his arrival.

We asked another company to do an inspection and they determined we need a new A/C system. I called Hays to do a 2nd opinion and I love their honesty! They said our system is old and we'll pay more on our summer bills but we can decide. Jeff, our technician, showed us a laminated price list and quoted an exact price for an A/C unit when we need one. I LOVE that they don't get commission on up-selling. We may not need a system for another year!

Office called as well as emailed me that technician was on his way. Technician, Dominique, was professional, courteous and performed a very thorough job with our units. This is our second time using Hays AC and couldn't be happier! We had Hays out yesterday for service/maintenance of our three units. Justin P did an extremely thorough job in examining and assessing our units. He was professional and very polite and explained everything in great detail. At the end of the visit he went over all his findings and although our smaller unit needs to be replaced (after 13 years), I'm confident Justin and Hays provided honest feedback. We kind of suspected the unit needed to be replaced and Justin confirmed that. He recommended not wasting any money on making minor repairs to the unit as long as it was being replaced, in an effort to keep us from wasting money unnecessarily. We have an appointment with Jeff from Hays on purchasing a new unit and I have every confidence Hays will get the job done properly and at reasonable rates. The below is a post that didn't get posted at our last AC service last year so, for whatever it's worth ... see below for another stellar performance by Hays AC. Our AC was blowing hot air last night, called Hays this morning after reading all the positive reviews on Google. They had a tech (Travis) out to me by 1:00 the same day. They provided an up front service cost which was reasonable and comparable to others at $79.99. After explaining the problem to Travis, who listened intently at what I had to say, he immediately diagnosed the problem as a "frozen" compressor due to low Puron. He reversed the thermostat to thaw out the unit, added Puron and cleaned off my AC units. In addition, he removed all my AC filters as I was unable due to a recent knee replacement! Travis took care of business, was prompt, courteous and professional and treated me like a long-time Hay's customer although this was my first time using the company. At the end of my service call, he asked if I wanted the maintenance program without the added pressure of trying to up sell anything. We discussed the probability of replacing the unit he serviced and thought it might be better to wait on the maintenance since we'll be replacing it. This was my first time using Hay's, but it certainly won't be my last! I highly recommend these guys for your AC needs! Prices are very reasonable as well. Thanks Hay's and Travis for a great experience on an otherwise bad problem!

justin p arrived on time as scheduled, proceeded to house with booties in hand prior to entering house. checked filter and thermostate for operational condition, advised to check filter every month even thou we had 90 day filter installed. this he advised would help protect life of equipment. he then proceeded to service the split system and after advise us of condition of equiptment. he was very careful when placeing ladder against house and landscape area. a very personable tech pleasure to do business with.

I was given a 2 hour window for my appointment time and the office was kind enough to call 15 minutes before the tech would actually arrive. Justin was our tech and was very thorough with his service. He was sure to tell me everything he found and how to do preventative maintenance. There wasn't any pressure to upgrade or buy new equipment which I appreciate. I would highly recommend Hays Cooling and Heating!
