Today, **** from Hays Heating and Cooling came out to change out an AC fan motor that was in the process of failing. I was called 30 min before he arrived, he did the work in 20 min or so, and the job was professionally done. Everything works fine now and the cost was reasonable. Hays is the only AC service company I have found in the Phoenix area that returns calls, shows up on time, and does the repair to fix the real problem. Great Job! Mike S. 06/13/17 |

I highly recommend Hays Cooling & Heating. Came home to no AC and called Hays. With it being summer, I didn't expect quick service, but Dominique arrived promptly at the time I was told and he got our AC up and running. Justin P. from Hays Cooling & Heating just serviced our air conditioner and did an excellent job. He checked both the outdoor unit and the air handler in the attic. He took the time to explain each test he ran giving me a great comfort level with him knowledge.

I had been dealing with another local hvac company on fixes to both of my AC units but wanted to get a second opinion. Luckily I did. The other contractor had quoted me a $785 fix for a one year old AC unit and a $300 fix for the 14-year old one. I called Hays because of it's Yelp and AngiesList ratings and Steve K came out to service my AC units. Steve was able to fix both on the spot and he did it for free! Be careful who you call in the Phoenix market! Just call Hays. They have a great reputation for a reason. I'm now a loyal customer. . .. 06/07/17 |

I called at 640p, never received a return call. I called AGAIN at 9p. At 930p, I finally received a call from the tech. He arrived at 1005 and finished by 11p. I'm not sure if my first call never got forwarded or if he was just too busy, but the lack of confirmation was disturbing. Even if he's busy, I'd like to know that I'm on his list as opposed to wondering if I need to call back. 06/07/17 |

The AC Tech person, Justin, was personable and well-prepared with a high degree of expertise He first went up into the attic [115F] and checked the unit there. He came down and then we went outside to the central unit. With various electronic gauges he checked the unit out. Everything was in good order.

They answer the phone, they show up on time, they call ahead and tell you 30 min or so before they arrive. Most importantly, the problem is correctly diagnosed and fixed, right the first time. We had an overheating unit this morning, woke up to heat pumping out of the vents. We called the office and they were able to schedule a maintenance call first thing. It turned out to be any easy fix but Michael P. was SO patient and helpful. He took the time to explain the situation and what we can do to avoid future problems. He was extremely personable and polite, I really appreciated it all and will definitely be using them again. It was worth it to purchase the $169 maintenance services for twice a year checkups so we can keep our A.C. unit in check here; these units run extra hard in AZ summer heat! Michael. 05/25/17 |

This spring, when the air conditioner at our business stopped working my regular HVAC service provider was unavailable. I received a referral from our property management company and called Hays Cooling & Heating. Within just a couple of hours, they sent Mike Santiago out who was able to the unit working again (he had the part on his truck) and he also provided an assessment of one of the units and its viability in the future.
I really appreciated the fast response and competent service, particularly since we were not a current client. I have since engaged them to be our service provider and have been impressed with the responsiveness of their front office as well.

We began experiencing increasing temperatures in our home yesterday. I contacted Hays C&H this morning and they were able to schedule us in between 3-5pm today. Mike S, the technician was available earlier and arrived at 1:30pm. Mike serviced our a/c units in the past and remembered our setup. He diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary adjustments to our a/c system. Mike, is polite, professional and most importantly knows his stuff. I highly recommend Mike! I have been using Hays air conditioning and cooling company for a few years now. Today I had my regular air-conditioning maintenance done by Brandon who is a breath of fresh air! He arrived earlier than projected, was the epitome of professionalism, serviced both the unit in the attic, the outside unit, cleaned everything off, installed a new screen, continually cleaning as he went and then explained everything in detail and what the various ratings meant. His attitude and courtesy is above and beyond the call of duty.
