I have been using Gene's as my heating and cooling contractor since 2006. I have been very pleased with their service and responsiveness both for the initial visit and if for any reason a call back is required. I want to specifically mention that Josh B has been truly excellent. IMO, Josh is truly an "A" teamer. He is prompt, extremely polite, posses expert knowledge, accurately diagnoses the situation, and if a repair is necessary he effectively explains the need for the repair in clear and understandable terms. Rich arrived at our house and was very personable. He was even friendly with our dog! Then, he got right to work. Rich promptly diagnosed the problem with the air conditioner. He explained it to me and several scenarios to my husband over the phone. The service was very good and Gene's was able to fit us in the same day we called for repairs. The rates were reasonable. Rich, has been servicing our heating and air conditioning units for several years now and is professional and great to work with. He just finished fixing our air conditioning unit after a storm disabled the unit. He was on time and finished the job quickly so we could cool the house down.

Rich Anthony, again, did an excellent efficient and thorough service / maintenance inspection. He always takes the time to explain or show areas I, as the homeowner, should be aware of to maintain the great performance of the Carrier system we had Gene's install 2 years ago. Also always had very good conversations with the office manager, Linda. When she promises something it gets done. I like these guys. First time I used them was when my furnace quit working in the middle of winter. Other HVAC contractors tried to sell me their maintenance plan before the would even schedule an appointment. Gene's got a tech to my house within a few hours and fixed the problem. Only then did he try to sell me their plan. I declined but used them again for an inspection and cleaning earlier this year. The tech was on-time, quick and efficient. This time, I purchased the maintenance plan. Chris was the tech who came most recently. Looked over my system but didn't try to sell me anything. Mine is approximately 20 years old and we discussed the age but he recommended against any repairs until the system would be replaced. Honest and fast. Can't ask for anything more. Impressed with Rich from Gene's Refrigeration.
1. He removed his shoes upon entering our home..That is 5 star service for me.
2. He showed me all that is was doing.
3. He actually had me come outside to show me how to clean the coils of our AC unit.. we have had AC for 30 years and NO company ever told us to do that. WOW!!!
4.He made suggestions but NO high pressure .
I will have ask for Rich again.. He does a fantastic job...He is an asset to your company

I have an inexpensive service contract with Gene's. It is about $13/month and is money well spent. They reminded me that it was time for my air conditioner check which is included in the contract. They could have waited for me to call and I would have forgotten.
I have used them for years and a couple of years ago purchased a new furnace from them. They told me it would cut my propane usage in half...and it did.
I have gotten quotes from them for my work and they have always been the least expensive with quality parts and professional work.
The techs are always on time and courteous.

Matt arrived at the scheduled time and was very polite. He completed the maintenance check and everything was returned to the previous settings when he was finished. When servicing the outside unit he noticed a wasp nest around the corner and told me about it. I had some questions about a future service that will need to be done and he took time to answer them.
