Called in the morning and we had a technician onsite later that same day. Our designated comfort specialist was professional and explained what they would need to do to diagnose our issue. Our AC stopped working on one of the hottest days this season, so I called Eric Smock late afternoon and left a message with their answering service. I received a call back from Doug very quickly and he was able to come that same evening to see what the problem was. He was very professional and knowledgeable. In addition to fixing the problem (mainly the compressor), Doug also took the time to explain to us some best practices with AC maintenance and use. It wasn't cheap, but Doug was very transparent about what the different components would cost. Given the dependable and professional service, we will definitely rely on the company in the future. Jim was absolutely wonderful. We were having issues without ac not cooling off the home sufficiently. He came and assessed the situation. He was honest, he didn’t invent things to fix so he could charge us money, he told us exactly what was going on and gave us some tips and tricks to help us get our home cooler. He was really really great. We enjoyed working with him and even signed up for subscription with them to come back twice a year for the routine maintenance because of our experience with Jim. Eric Smock Heating & Air Conditioning is a great company, friendly technicians, helpful service providers and super knowledge/service. I had a new unit installed in 2019. They had a team of 2 guys work fast and efficiently, They take great pride and care in each & every job, I've had techs come out for service and every time it has been a success! Today, I had a semi-annual maintenance on my unit, Jim was super. Friendly guy, very knowledgeable and kind. He did a great job servicing my indoor furnace and my outdoor heat pump unit. For anyone looking for a new system, call Eric Smock Heating & Air Conditioning!! You will be happy you did! For old unit repairs or maintenance, call them! The techs are terrific. In June 2021 I had a Trane Air Condenser, Coil and Furnace installed. Will, Steve and Bud were outstanding. Steve provided information about the air condenser and Will provided information about the coil and furnace. The guys corrected a thermostat location issue. Due to the outstanding service, lunch was bought for the guys. It was a pleasure to sit and talk to them. Eric Smock has a great group of technicians who are passionate and enjoy the HVAC work. Eric Smock takes care of both my home and business. They always come right away, are professional and skilled, and care about your home (they even always put on booties to walk inside, and also wore a mask during the pandemic). Eric Smock Heating are a special kind of wonderful. We had a heating and AC system installed last year. We have used the company previously and were completely satisfied with the service. Recently, the AC unit wasn't delivering, we called again. I spoke with Nancy several times. She worked with me to set up an appointment and continuously kept me informed. Super friendly and immensely helpful. Kevin arrived not a second late. Dan was polite and explained everything that he was gong to be doing today and about how long he would need to be in my home. Eric Smock is regularly highly recommended across all social media platforms I use so they were the first call I made when we started to notice our AC wasn’t functioning properly. I was extremely pleased with the efficient and professional manner Eric Smock replaced my HAVAC system. When my system failed the technician evaluated it and installed a portable air conditioner within 24 hours. I was scheduled to have a new system installed in less then a week, the job completed in one day. The technicians were knowledgeable and open to answer any questions. We've been using Eric Smock for 4 years now. We bought our home and, much to our dismay (when the heat wouldn't work during a snow storm a week after we bought the place, and the original installers were rude and couldn't be bothered with us), found out that the prior owners did zero maintenance on the HVAC. The entire thing had to be rebuilt, and for the past 4 years since, we've had ZERO issues thanks to Erick Smock. They have a reasonable cost maintenance program that entails them coming out twice a year to do basic maintenance, and you get whole host of other benefits as well. They always pick up the phone, and in the rare chance they do not, they respond back immediately. We usually have one of two service techs come out, which is wonderful because they're familiar with our home and system. From the office staff to the techs themselves, everyone is friendly and professional. The techs speak in terms you can understand when explaining issues (bonus, they love my dog and always let her "help" (aka: watch) them while they work) and they have always been nothing but friendly and helpful. They also send an email when your tech is on the way with their picture included, for security reasons (which is awesome in the off chance it's someone new). You can't go wrong with this company.
