Wanted to express and share our gratitude for outstanding service, received from Erick Smock HVAV, in removing our old heat pump system and installing a new one. All three persons who arrived were very professional, hard working, knowledgeable, and respectful. When completed, the inside and outside units were shown and explained, along with details concerning the final paperwork. The only signs of any work being done were the new units. They worked as a team and represented their company with excellent service. We definitely recommend this company for top-of-the-line service. Recently had our Oil furnace replaced with a heat pump they did a great job very clean neat installation and the system works great. we are very happy that we found this company .Highly recommend.Thank you guy.

As always, Eric Smock HVAC performed the biannual maintenance on our heat pump. The technician (Doug) came on time after calling to confirm his ETA. He checked all parts of the system including the humidifier. Doug gave a verbal and written checklist of all aspects of the maintenance service for our records. Dan c. has been servicing our Old and New HVAC system for a couple years now. He always communicates with us on arrival times and the service he performs on our System. He is very knowlegeble and honest about what is going on with our System. Eric Schmock and co are not the most Expensive and not the cheapest but the are Reliable, Fast,

When I discovered the leak from the hot water heater I called Smock heating. I explained what I saw. They asked me to take a few pictures email them and they would send me a quote. By 1:00 they were in my home installing a new unit. The technicians were wonderful. They were professional and very good. My house was very busy yesterday as there was a toddler, dogs and company. They were also very careful aware of not damaging anything in removing the unit from the basement.
When they were finished he explained everything about the new water heater and the improvements which included new safety measures.

Dan arrived promptly to do seasonal scheduled inspection & maintenance on our HVAC unit. He was diligent and thorough in that work. And was courteous. He patiently explained what he was doing, why, and what his inspection and maintenance results were. As a retired engineer, I can confirm that Dan is highly competent. And trustworthy. He found a circuit board failure and was able to replace the board (covered under warranty) right away. We’ve had great experiences with Eric Smock’s other technicians as well. A solid outfit. Eric Smock was able to get me in the same day on a Friday. I called for a leak in my basement. From first point of contact in the office to the service out in field - these folks are the best. Professional, courteous and take the time to explain, listen and understand. Doug was my service person, he was very nice to explain what happened and professional. Excellent customer service! Doug was very professional and nice to us, unlike our builder HVAC contractor. We are at our 1 year mark with new home construction and builder HVAC contractor techs have been very rude at all their past visits, dismissed all our issues/questions, but yet we had issues. Doug today was the complete opposite, listened to our backstory/concerns and performed a complete HVAC system review to make sure all is working properly.

Dan came to the house earlier than the scheduled time after calling which was fine. He brought the circuit board that he ordered when he diagnosed the issue with the codes on our thermostat. He explained what actions he was going to take. Installed the board and it resolved the issue with the codes. He also took the time to explain why the humidifier was previously not working and gave advice for maintaining the humidifier . Dan also performed the Winter maintenance. From start to finish Eric Smock team was professional, courteous and expertly trained to do an install as complicated as ours was. They provided solutions to bring a ductless system into our 100 year old home which required a lot of thinking outside of the box. Every member of their crew took the utmost care on our property and they were as friendly and respectful as I have ever encountered in the world of specialized contractors. Another plus is that their quote/pricing beat competitors by tens of thousands of dollars. Last night my a/c unit drain pipe got clogged and started leaking I called them today for a service and they sent a technician in about an hour and a half later to fix the problem.
