I had an appointment window that began at 8:00 am. My technician Dan called me before 8:00 am to let me know he was on his way. Dan was polite and explained everything that he was gong to be doing today and about how long he would need to be in my home. If I could rate 6 stars I would! Absolutely everything met or exceeded my expectations. You simply will not find a more professional group. I had a failed compressor on a very old heat pump system. Eric Smock Heating & Air did a full system replacement, as well as replaced my aging water heater, and all in the same day! On top of that they delivered portable a/c units free of charge while I waited for the installation date! Back office support, sales, and installation team were all flawless. What a day! Unfortunately, I had contacted another a/c company the day before and set an appointment with them for 8am-10am on Saturday. I had to call that company several times (because I was working and had set aside that time for my appt.) and I kept getting pushed back with no contact whatsoever from the Tech. I canceled the appointment. I called Eric Smock Heating and Air Conditioning. Matt IMMEDIATELY reached out to me to let me know he would be here within 45 minutes. We had our HVAC system replaced with Eric Smock about 2 years ago. Our old system had a leak in air-conditioner line. They gave us options for a temporary repair and for replacement. They were not pushy, just provided the facts so we could make the best decision for us. We have had them continue to provide twice yearly maintenance on our system through their maintenance program. The maintenance program is very reasonable compared to some companies we have dealt with in the past. All the technicians are very friendly and are willing to explain things at a level I understand. I called Eric Smock Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. on a Saturday night and they were able to have a technician out the following day!! I received a call on Sunday morning from the technician and also received a test half an hour prior to his arrival. Kevin was professional, attentive, and friendly! He was able to diagnose the issue, explain it to me and let me know how much it would cost. They're a bit pricier than some other places but you honestly get what you pay for. I signed up for a maintenance plan with them as well because I think it's worth having them come out twice a year to inspect everything. Eric Smock Company is very professional and customer friendly. They always call to remind me it's time to schedule normal maintenance. Dan came out on time and wore shoe coverings in the house. He also wore a mask for Covid protection. He asked me questions and listened. He did all the maintenance on the inside unit and outside unit. He was quick yet thorough and professional. I can not say enough good things about Eric Smock Heating and Air. I give 5 stars and would give more if there was an option. My AC system went out, I made call after call after call to any HVAC company in the area and Eric Smock Heating & Air was the only company that told me they would be sending someone out that day!!! That immediately won my loyalty. They came in a few hours and got my system going. I ended up replacing my system and they were able to get me scheduled quickly. Two very nice young men came to my house exactly on time and they worked so quietly and diligently. They were very clean and put down drop cloths and I never saw a mess. Even before the team showed up, I received an email that had a group photo of the people installing our new AC (this was the same when we got the estimate as well). When they arrived, drop cloths were immediately placed from our front door to the back door. They were prompt, they were professional and with the pandemic going on, made sure to keep covered 100% of the time as proof they were there to take care of us.
