Justin did a great job hard-wiring 3 smoke detectors and installing a new outdoor light fixture. He pointed some other things out in my home I might want to address which were informative suggestions, no pressure-filled sell. The technician noticed and explained other electrical concerns he observed while he was here but didn't give me a hard sell. He offered some advice, including some 'free' solutions, and then some expert fixes I might consider. I called Brothers to see if they could help me with a problem I have. Water has been seeping up from the ground into our basement window well. I called and explained the problem to the person who answered the phone and stated I thought it might have something to do with the French drain system not working properly. The call taker was polite and gave me the impression that they would be able to help and scheduled a tech. to come out that afternoon. A few minutes later the person called me back and wanted me to talk to a supervisor. I explained the problem again to him and he also gave me the impression they would be able to help and stated a tech. would be out that afternoon. When the technician showed up on time and was friendly. I showed him the window well and explained the problem. I intentionally checked my watch and it had taken 5 minutes. He stated he needed to call his supervisor and went back to his truck. 10 minutes later he came back and stated they wouldn't be able to do anything for the problem. I asked if he could recommend who I call that could help and he stated he had no idea. He then charged me $45.00 for the call. I asked why the people I talked to on the phone couldn't have told me that instead of sending you out for 5 minutes to tell me and cost me $45.00. He stated he had to travel from Arvada and that is why they had to charge me. I may not have been as upset if he would have at least been able to suggest someone else to call but he couldn't even do that. I received absolutely no assistance. What a great experience. I don't normally allow workers in my home but a great deal offered by Brothers encouraged me. Tiffany called me to let me know the tech was on the way. Gary showed during the appointment window. He was EXTREMELY professional and I felt like was working with a family friend. I felt confident with Gary's plumbing expertise and the way he explained things made understanding what he was talking about super simple! Someone called about 20 minutes after Gary left for follow up to make sure i was satisfied with my experience. I like the way they do business and will be using them again! Matt is very familiar with what he is doing. He clearly has a lot of experience with a variety of furnaces and water heaters. He knows the brands and quality of each. He did a great job, stayed focus and finished and cleaned up after himself. He put in a new furnace and water heater for us and made sure all work met code standards. It looks good and clean. Jimmy came to our house and repaired burst pipes. The repair was complicated and difficult to reach. His work was top notch. He was courteous, professional and respectful. I have used Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric Inc. for several years. The technicians strive to be timely, informative, and leaving the work area clean. Today I had the electrical in my condo checked as part of the preferred customer program offered by Brothers. Justin arrived at the scheduled time. He was very informative concerning each step of the inspection along with the reasoning behind recommendations for replacement of fire alarms and safety outlets and the cost to have work completed. Justin completed the agreed upon work leaving the area clean. I have used Brothers for heating and plumbing issues in the past. I woke up yesterday morning to no heat in my house. The temperature was below 10 degrees outside. I called Brothers at 7:00am and Tiffany was able to schedule my appointment between 8 - 8:30am that same morning. The service specialist (Jeff Holder) arrived on time, analzed the issue, replaced the part and got my heat running again. Thanks for getting someone out to my house so quickly given the weather conditions. Jeff did an amazing job. He was thorough, courteous, and professional. Matt and Daniel were the perfect professionals. Matt was very clear about the problems and the reasons for my trouble in my home. As difficult as it was to hear that our furnace may be dangerous to our health, due to numerous cracks in our non-functioning furnace, I felt completely comfortable with his recommendations. He was thorough and offered us a home care program that will keep a lot of things in our home safer and efficient, throughout the year. Both Matt and Daniel were here for the entire day, kept me informed and replaced equipment that was either not working or inefficient. I called at 7:00 and Allison was very helpful in setting up a same day service visit. Bill was early and quickly assessed the drainage issue in my 60 year old house. He was able to update the shower drain with a new trap, vent and pipe so it drains better than it ever has. He was great about cleaning up and putting everything back in place afterwards. Mike was prompt, arrived when he said he would and went right to work. He needed to get parts, got them, and returned. The entire job from initial scoping visit, parts run, to completion was under 3 hours. Brothers was able to schedule the visit around my work schedule at the first available time I could meet their service man. I am quite pleased.
