Technician looked briefly under the sink, spotted some leaking, and although I told him that was simply because I removed the trap earlier and just didn't get it tight enough, he told me he had to charge $200+ to unclog the drain and another $300+ because he had to replace the pipes. Used neighbor's snake and tightened the pipes with no additional leaking! Worst experience I've ever had with a plumber! 06/09/14 |

Spring is here, so time to turn on our sprinklers, Called 'Brothers', first time from ad on our computer and liked the way they answered their phone, "How can I make you smile" Set up a date... day, and time...........Noon on Wednesday, Michael C. was at our door, High Noon on Wednesday Wow ! Turned on the water pipe, checked all the outlets, found two that was broken, even moved two of our garden railings away from the site so that the heads were clear and free to work. Michael C. was professional, helpful, friendly, explained the billing and what to do to fix the broken heads. You guys are new to us, but I liked the service and would recommend Brothers to anyone who needs any kind of plumbing, heating, electric work done. Michael C. put a smile on our Face. Thanks. Brother's is my "go to" plumbing company, always professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Tony, the tech, had done some work for me that was out of warranty by 2 months, he checked with his Manager, Eric and Eric agreed to cover the work under the warranty. I also commend the office/dispatch staff for their friendly and courteous telephone etiquette. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing, heating and electrical work that needs done. I was afraid I had a real problem with my sprinkler system. Mike was the technician that came out to fix the problem. He ran the station that I was having problems with and saw the issues that worried me. The ground was saturated in a very short time period and was pooling at the bottom of the slope. He traced the drip line feeders back to the main line and determined they weren't leaking. We had new landscaping done and there was just nothing to absorb the excess water so it pooled. He knew I was convinced that there was a major problem and could have taken advantage of the situation. He put nozzles on the feeder lines to slow down the flow, then ran the system for another cycle just to make sure there was no leak. I was charged for a service call and nothing else. I have used Brother's for years and this just reinforces my confidence in their honesty and integrity, and Mike could not have been any more professional. This is my first call to Brothers and I'm very happy with their work. My AC had gone out on me and the Tech (Charles) came out on the Saturday during Memorial Day weekend to make repairs and arrived at the start of the scheduled time frame. He was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He quickly troubleshot the issues with my system, provided me with a detailed estimate and further arranged a return visit for the repairs since the necessary parts weren't available that day from the supplier, which given the holiday weekend, is totally understandable. Additionally, the Customer Service staff are always friendly and call ahead of time if a change in scheduling is needed. Going forward, I plan on using Brothers for my plumbing and HVAC service needs. Update: There was a scheduled followup visit from another Tech (Ron) to compete the work that Charles had started, mentioned above. Ron was every bit as personable, knowledgeable and professional. After he replaced the condenser fan motor, he charged the system and completed the furnace cleaning on time. I'm now much more comfortable with my AC working properly again. Thanks guys! It was $210 for a less than 30 minutes of work. That price for a minor repair would keep me from using you again or recommending Brothers to neighbors and friends. That includes dissatisfaction that the service call fee was added on top of the cost of the repair. 05/29/14 |

I can't tell you how pleased I am with Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric. I had a company come out to check my AC system and they told me it would be between $4,000 to $7200 to replace my unit. Bill Smith just installed a pressure regulator on our main water line and also replaced the faucet for the laundry room sink. Totally excellent job!
Bill was very courteous and professional in everything he did from the time he came in the front door until he left. He was very helpful to explain each step of the work he was doing and to confirm the pricing before doing the work. He made a couple of recommendations that we decided not to do at this time because they aren't current problems. If we ever need work done again we will ask for Bill Smith at Brothers Plumbing. We discovered sprinkler head that was leaking and called Brothers Plumbing, who we have used many times in the past. The appointment was made and before the time for Robert came Tiffany called and let us know how long before Robert would be there. This is a usual practice for the company one which we appreciate very much. Robert came and fixed the sprinkler head and checked another problem which I had mentioned to Tiffany when she called.
