Our back porch faucet incurred damage due to freezing last winter. When we turned it on for the first time the Spring on Easter day, an interior leak spread down the wall into the finished basement--damaging dry wall and soaking some of the carpet. We turned off our main shut-off valve to check for continued leaking. When we turned it back on; it, too, had developed a leak. We had to keep it turned off to keep the leaking controlled, so we faced the prospect of being without water until we could get a plumber to our house. I called Brothers Plumbing and Heating, with whom we have a service agreement. The dispatcher, Steven, was able to get a Brothers plumber, Steve, on his way to us within an hour on Easter day, with no extra charge for the Easter service call. Steve worked on our two problem sites for almost three hours (with a headache). He was able to cap the deck faucet. Then he made sure our main valve leak was just a trickle before going home. He left us with instructions for getting our water district to turn off water to ours and connected condo units the next day. On Monday, as the water district worker finished shutting off the water, Steve arrived and got to work replacing our main valve. That done, we called the water district to turn the water to our condos back on. Steve waited until he made sure the water was running, and then he contacted the other condo owners on our line to let them know their water was running again. We were very pleased at the courteous and professional service we received from Steve and from all the people at Brothers whom we spoke with on the phone. This Easter day plumbing breakdown was handled promptly and expertly, and with genuine consideration for our family's needs.

I called this weekend to set up a time for my sprinklers to be turned on. I wasn't sure when that should be - I didn't request it to be done immediately, just that it was about that time of year. It was scheduled for 3 days later, on 4/8/14. When the technician arrived, he said that he wouldn't recommend that I have the sprinklers turned on yet...but that I'd still have to pay the $45 show up fee if I didn't have it done. So, I was stuck with a) the $45 fee or b) the risk that I'm turning on the sprinklers too early, and the system could freeze if there are freezing nights ahead (which there are). I wish that when I called to schedule my sprinklers to be turned on that someone there would have told me that it wasn't recommended, or scheduled it a few weeks out.

My hot water heater went out on a tuesday evening. I called Brothers at 5:00. Jimmy N was at my home at 8:15. He explained what was needed and I told him to switch the old one out. My old water heater was 15 years and yes I got my monies worth out of it. I live in a mobile, so everything was not set up for a new water heater. Jimmy had to change fittings and change pipe around. He still had it working and everything cleaned up by 5:00. You betcha I'll call Brothers next time. Garland Hughes

I called at 7:00 and Allison was very helpful in setting up a same day service visit. Bill was early and quickly assessed the drainage issue in my 60 year old house. He was able to update the shower drain with a new trap, vent and pipe so it drains better than it ever has. He was great about cleaning up and putting everything back in place afterwards. I plan on using Brothers for several other issues I have in my home.

Service was prompt, polite, professional and comprehensive, including little extras that were not part of the original deal. The technician (Matt) was very knowledgeable, efficient and competent in his work as well as explanations of all material parts and operational procedures. The company was also very accommodating to our needs and even bumped us up in line after a cancellation from another customer. All of our questions and concerns were answered thoroughly and requests for information were replied to promptly and courteously. Overall, this was perhaps the best experience I have ever had in dealing with a home repair contractor and I will definitely call them back for any and all related service needs in the future.

We have used Brothers for years--toilets, hot water heater, water pump, etc.--we continue to call them without question whenever we have an issue. Their technicians are ALWAYS professional and knowledgeable, and always have a solution to your problem. Gary has been to our house twice for 2 different issues, and provided excellent customer service both times.

Charles came out to my house for a leak going into the basement from the floors above. He explained the possibilities of where the leak was coming from. He was able to track it down and get it repaired. Although drywall had to be cut to repair it, he made a hole only the size needed for the repair. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and didn't leave a mess in my home. This is my first time using Brothers and I am very impressed, I will use Brothers in the future for any plumbing or heating needs!

I'm in the middle of a hot water heater installation with associated mold problems due to the leaky drain.

The entire process was wonderful until we received the price estimate... I feel like Brothers is overpriced on some items. I paid for a visit and received nothing in return because I could not afford the recommended solution. Felt kind of short changed.
I will use Brothers in the future, and always recommend you, but I think someone needs to look at the pricing a little closer. We were able to get this done by someone else for half the cost. 04/23/14 |

I appreciated Bill S.'s extra effort. I was more than satisfied with his work. He spent extra time and effort, he was there as a plumber and took care of a sink that wasn't draining. But, somehow he also discovered an electric socket that was sparking so slightly that I hadn't noticed.

My project was complicated because it involved replacing 1956 galvanized pipes that were above a basement ceiling. I couldn't have asked for a better technician than Bill. He was on time and was attentive to all details. He was great at communicating what needed to be done and keeping me informed in each stage of the project from the estimate until the work was done. Bill and his assistant worked in complete harmony, accomplishing each task in an orderly fashion and with care. By the end of the day, the project was completed to my complete satisfaction. I checked online and the flame sensor you charged $300 to replace (and took the technician 5 minutes) costs about $10. How about if you reduce the charge for this to a measly 10x or $100? Marking anything up 30x over your cost seems just a little excessive, don't you think? 04/15/14 |

On 4/14/14 we had a service call for our furnace which was not working. This was our second service call with Brothers Plumbing, Heating and Electric. The Service specialist Isaac was very professional and courteous and also arrived earlier than our scheduled appointment. After diagnosing the problem and presenting service estimate I advised the service specialist that I would be unable to have the work done at this time. I requested information on how long the estimate would be good for and at that time Isaac stated that he would contact his boss and see what he could do. He went above and beyond the normal service you would expect to get and was able to reduce the estimate to an amount that we were able to afford. I have tried write a review on the site that was provided but I could not, so I would like to say that Gary was exceptional on Saturday 4/11. We needed a gas line re-connected , he new exactely what needed to be done and executed to perfection. Gary went above and beyond the call and took two trips away from our property to get parts/tools that were needed to get the job done. In my opinion he is an employee that is invaluable to Brothers Plumbing and Heating. I also have to say that we were in a panic on Friday night as the gas line was cut on Friday morning and after ten to twelve calls to other companies that could not help at 6 to 7 o’clock in the evening I found Brothers, and you were the answer, I can’t thank you all enough, everyone I talked to was very professional and courteous.
