We are very happy with the product we received and the guys that installed it are very good at there job. I'm disappointed that I was told someone would come to our house to give an estimate and then they said they didn't need to come here that it is a set price per square foot of the house. I was given an estimate and decided to go with this company and then was sent an extra bill later. I think you should be more honest with your customers. Last week my wife and I purchased a new air conditioner from Arpi's, Jeff and Wes came out to install the new unit, They arrived at the agreed upon time and started immediately to explain what was to happen and how long it would take. Wes explained each step and the progress that was taking place. The guys did a very neet and clean installation and unless you know exactly what was put in and where it is difficult to see the changes, I had to show my wife the new lines and electrical that had been added. I decided to replace my 55 year old Lennox furnace with a new Lennox high efficiency unit. Arpi's rep. Peter came to provide an estimate on Thur. and on Tues. the installers came at 8 am and were finished by noon. Now the house maintains a more constant temp. My part was to sign the contract then open the door for them, they got the permits, placed the new furnace, took the old one away and cleaned up after. Easy for me! Installed on Friday and was overall a good install and I thought the installer was quite knowledgeable and very experienced. His trainee helper was asking questions when not sure, so that was also going good.
But there was a problem I found after the installers left. The disconnect electrical box outside had a loose piece that came off when I opened the box, so it needed looking at.
So I called ARPI's twice, and both times assured I would get a same day call to get it taken care of. I had to call a third time on Wednesday and complained that I had called twice about it and no returned call yet. They put me on hold for a long time, and then they booked an appointment for the following Tuesday. The original install was a shorter lead time so by now I am getting quite annoyed at the poor support.
I got a call 20 minutes later from the salesman, and he cancelled the appointment and arranged for the original installer to come that day, but had no time for me, just sometime that day. So he had to find out a time so that I could be there to show him the problem.
I give the 4/5 because of the poor follow up, and I think I am being very generous with that rating. I think ARPI's needs to put a process in place to ensure that if someone calls with a problem that they actually get help with it. Arpi's Industries Ltd Team. 03/16/16 |

The job took 11 hours and I was told this was a straightforward job. One of the two installer was cranky toward the end of the day and I felt questions were an imposition then. Furnace did not go on over night at all and someone else had to spend 2 hours rewiring everything the next day. I hope it is now safe. Although the furnace seems to run well and quietly now---the water heater---I call Darth Vader--is big, noisy and ugly. I imagine I will get used to living with Darth in time. I feel that I could have been more informed about the furnace and thermostat running and settings.
No one asked where we would like the CO2 detectors placed and holes were put into walls in inappropriate places. We caught the last one in time when we saw where the others were put.

Arpi's replaced our old furnace with a new Lennox furnace three days after we ordered it. They arrived at exactly at 8:00 AM as they stated they would. The installers explained just what would happen and proceeded. The workmanship of the install was outstanding (much improved over what they replaced). After two visits by technicians the third one found out what was wrong, beside mechanical malfunction he found out that the heat converter was cracked and the furnace should be replaced. In short order Wayne came by and measured everything and telling us, because of overload, that it would take four days waiting for the installation. But . . . the installers came two days later and did a great job! Nice, friendly and a minimum of dirt despite drilling a hole through the foundation.
The charges for two component parts installed in the old furnace will be refunded. One cannot ask more.
