I had a replacement furnace (EL-V series) and AC unit (XC14) installed at the same time. I love how quiet and efficient the new furnace is. However, the installers did not take appropriate care with the floor covering in my finished basement, and left some dirt on it after the job was completed. As well, they removed the existing flue cap, but left that in the backyard. Finally, they had to displace an exterior bin to install the AC unit, but did not put it back into place afterward. No one wants both of their furnaces to die in the same week during a Canadian winter. However, Arpi's led us through the experience wonderfully. from the initial technician that made the diagnosis and took time to explain the situation and lend us electric heaters, to the Project Manager who carefully set out the options and answered all of our questions fully, to the foreman and crew who problem-solved a last-minute placement glitch, then installed the new Lennox furnaces in one day, leaving behind no mess or problems. The old furnace was in a small, tight space and badly installed, and although the installation of the new furnace must have been a nightmare for them, Arpi's were professional, positive, always kept us informed and did excellent work. I was unsure if the first repair person who came out to look at my furnaces really knew what he was doing. My Lennox furnace was from about 1991 and I don't think he really was knowledgeable about that style of furnace However he did try with sincerity to fix any issues that arose. When it was deduced that repairs would be overly costly and parts very difficult to obtain, he did suggest a new furnace would be the best option. The technician who came out to install the new furnace was extremely competent, polite and efficient. I have every confidence that he truly knew his craft and the furnace was installed by a real professional. If I was only rating the second technician. he would get 5 star ratings. I can not give 5 star ratings to the first one however so 4 stars is as high as I will go, with a way heavier weighting for the superior service of the installer. Hi. We had Arpi's install a new Lennox furnance. They did a great job and finished in a very timely manner. They took the care to cover the stairs and carpet with a tarp which is very considerate. They also installed a new nest thermostat which we provided. A week later when the city inspector came he needed less than 5 minutes to approve the work. We had our furnace inspected by Arpi's and a crack in the heat exchanger was discovered. This was on a Monday in November and we were scheduled to leave for a month on Thursday of that week. Competent, trustworthy servicemen for the install. However I was surprised to see a permanent long vent pipe sticking way outside my house foundation after the job was finished. I decide to change my 12 years old furnace, I search to find which one was the better brands and I found Lenox was in the top, I got a quote from Arpi's and the review made to my home and quote from Wayne was really good and his professional was really nice, fill all my expectations, I got quotes from other places and the better price was from Arpi's, even I check possible price in internet and Arpi's was the real estimation. At the moment the replacement started Arpi's technicians work for around 8 hours, no stop for almost anything, answered all my question, even help me with some staff I didn't know about the new furnace. The new Lenox furnace SLP98V is really quite, no same loud crazy noise was bother all the time and after a week, all my home change, Now I can keep really warn all home between 21 and 23 deg C, previous furnace never ever get same, I guess was running below 60 or 50% efficient. Response to a request for a quote was immediate and within a week an instillation team had installed a new furnace to our complete satisfaction. We had our new high efficeincy furnace installed early November before the cold weather in Alberta arrived. The installation was seamless and installed a humidifier and a programable thermostat (80 Series).. Before our house had cold spots and now we have more even temperature throughout. Our duplex's furnace room was on the shared interior wall in a developed basement so the exhaust had to run across the basement ceiling. The installer took care to limit the amount of drywall that had to opened up in the ceiling trying to get the pipe across the house. We just had a new Lennox furnace installed this month, November 2016 using Arpi’s. They arrived on time, were very friendly and professional. They covered the carpets and stairs with a drop cloth which we didn’t expect but very appreciated. We also purchased a Nest thermostat and had them install it. The entire install went very smoothly. Even the quote stage was done very professionally and friendly. By 3:30 pm every thing was done and working.
