Rich Armbrust scheduled a toilet installation in my fathers home. Dads 92 and particular. Rich accomodated more than could be expected. Armbrust is a trusted name in the area and for good reason. Alan C. called ahead and came at the expected time. He was courtious and thorough through the entire process. Alan C. comes from a military family and showed his appreciation for my fathers service which was sincere and appreciated. Alan C. was gone in the anticipated time and left everything cleaner than he found it. The job was done for the quoted price and in a very professional manner. Jeff came over today, and fixed our furnace.
The organization did a great job. I called at seven a.m. and Jeff was there at ten.
Jeff took the furnace apart, inspected the heat exchanger for safety reasons, and identified the problem. We had an oddball furnace, that needed an unusual part, but Jeff located a source, and drove to another town to get it, right then.
Now I'm back at work, and my wife and our dogs are at home in a gradually warming house.

Alan was on time, professional and very pleasant to work with. He installed our new power vent water heater and took the time to explain how it works and what the warranty covers. After waking up to the smell of burning plastic and finding out our furnace was no longer working I began searching Yelp for local heating companies I could call. I couldn't look past Armbrust. Not only was it local to Wheaton but it had absolutely amazing reviews. I called in the morning to set up an appointment fully expecting it would be at least a day. Not only were they able to fit me in that day, they were able to do it mid day! I was already impressed but then they sent me an email with information about the service man making the call which included a photo and I was super impressed that they take the time to do that. Jeff showed up right on time and even called when on his way to alert me. He was friendly, informative and helpful while explaining the issues he found and even showed me the issues first hand. When it came down to fixing the multiple items or researching a replacement Jeff provided me with the necessary options and information to make a decision. He made calls to check on available warranties and requested the salesman John to stop by as well. John came out and provided me with a great deal of information. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase. After discussion my husband we chose to spend the money on a new furnace rather than pouring more money into the broken one. They were able to get us the one we wanted AND have it installed same week. We only had to make it one day without heat before our new furnace would be installed. I was told David would be the person installing our new furnace and he would arrive around 730. Just like Jeff, David called when he was on his way and arrived right on time. He walked me through the process and provided an estimate time for completion. Throughout the process he checked in just to report his status. At one point he called me in to decide on the venting options. He walked me through the different options and ultimately left it to me to decide. When he completed the job he showed me how to change the filters and explained all the new parts which were installed. The day he installed our new furnace was a day we had high wind advisories. When he was packing himself up he informed me that there had been a lot of debris flying around outside. He walked around the perimiter of the house with me and even helped me clean up the shingles that had blown off my roof! Talk about customer service. We recently hired Armbrust to repair some bathroom faucets. They were helpful on the phone, and we were able to schedule the repair visit the next day. The plumber was Alan C. and he was terrific. He arrived in the time window they told us to expect, and called to let us know when he would arrive. He assessed the problem, suggested a better way to handle the repairs that saved both time and money. He had the needed parts with him, and the repair was complete within 30 minutes. WOW! What a great job Tom H did. We just had a bathroom gutted & remodeled. After the remodel the new toilet and the old toilet in a different bathroom would not flush. Then the tub stopped draining too. We knew the remodeling company had done something wrong but they would not come back and fix the problem. So Tom H came to our rescue! He put a camera down the waste pipe and found a bunch of fiberglass insulation and a piece of title stuck in our pipe. He removed everything and now we a flushing happily! I would recommend Armbrust and Tom H to everyone in need of high quality plumbing. I'm so happy everything is fixed! Thank you Tom H. Tom H. 02/17/16 |

We had a leak under our kitchen sink. Alan C. was able to come the next morning to diagnose the problem and replace the garbage disposal. He was very knowledgeable about all things plumbing that we had questions about, including pipe materials. Since the water shut-off valves under the sink were frozen open, he had to turn off the water from the main water valve. Since that was by the water heater, he assessed that as well and let us know what our options would be and what to expect when it started to go out (it's getting really old). Alan C. did a great job replacing the garbage disposal and all the necessary pipes under our sink, including the shut-off valves so we could turn off the water to the sink without shutting off the water to the whole house. Alan C. was also very efficient, which we appreciated because we both work full time. He called ahead and arrived when he said he would. He was friendly and professional. Jeff B. from Armbrust was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He immediately determined that the repair would be a trivial matter and would take no time at all. Rather than try to find something to charge me for or charge me a flat rate just for showing up, Jeff decided not to charge me for the visit.
Good old fashioned customer service, Armbrust may have lost out on a small fee, but they gained a loyal customer.

Called early due to leaking pipe in the wall. They scheduled a mid-morning appointment. Tom Heyman, Technician, called before arriving. Looked over the situation had it taken care of in 45 minutes. Excellent service. He explained what he could do to take care of the leak and took care of the issue. Will not hesitate to call, Armbrust and request Tom Heyman, again for needed service.
