The furnace had been acting up and then went out. I called Armbrust because they are a long established local company, and they are well respected and trusted. The proposal for the work described the scope of work and costs clearly. The scope of work included a replacement water heater with a new draining pan, a new replacement toilet, and hydro-jetting the sewer line outside. Patrick A was our service provider for the day. He began working just as I had stepped out which allowed my wife to greet him and explain our needs. He worked quickly and efficiently and completed the pipe re-routing EXACTLY as we had asked. He even contacted the city we live in because he noticed that we had a 1/2" water meter and it was restricting our 3/4" pipes. That replacement was free of charge. We spent a lot of money that day, but came away so happy we did! I am truly unsure how Armbrust Plumbing prices compare with others in the area, but we were happy to hire local professionals who truly do a nice job. We called Armbrust at 7:15am with a stopped up drain problem. They said they would have someone over mid to late morning. Tom H. came at 10:30, found the problem right away and fixed it. The plumber who came over, Patrick, was nice and community minded. He fixed the leak and then was helpful with suggestions regarding another larger issue that we feel, might wait for the future. He helped and was generous with his time and skills. He even gave extra parts to us for future repairs on the old faucet that we like and do not wish to replace. I normally don't fill out reviews but our experience with Armbrust Plumbing & Heating deserved to be recognized for their top notch service. They were able to fit us in the same day I called and were very thorough in finding out what the problem was and then fixing it while saving us $2000.00. Today, Patrick A., came out to fix a leaking facet of an older tub. He did the job nicely and then left spare parts for the older 'seat', in case we need the parts in the future. He was kind about not doing some work that we know we need but do not currently have the funds for this project. He referred us to other service men for other jobs that we asked about.
