We signed up to use Amistee while at a home show and I am so happy we did. Our ducts had never been cleaned and our house was built n the 70s so clearly they had their work cut out for them. They are not the cheapest but I believe they are the best. The techs were incredibly professional and great to work with. I appreciate the fact that they wear covers on their shoes and placed a cushion between their equipment and my walls. Great experience overall and I would use them again when the need arises. Got a call 30 minutes before the service techs arrived. Melvin & Darren were on time and before they even got started they explained to me everything they were going to do while walking through our house. As they brought the equipment in one or the other explained what each thing was for. They are very hard working,friendly, & very thorough! Our cat Max kinda freaked out from all the noise & I thought he had bolted out the open front door and both Melvin & Darren were so concerned that they both helped look for Max when they were finished with the job. They called 30 minutes before coming and arrived on time. As they were explaining the cleaning process they said they would take a picture Before and After the cleaning to show what a difference the cleaning had made. He took the first picture and showed it to me. There was literally no dust or objects in the duct. At this point he said if he did the cleaning and took another picture it would look like the first. His recommendation was not to clean the ducts at this time--do not waste your money. I appreciated his honesty. I decided not to have the cleaning and only had to pay for a service call. We had our air ducts cleaned for the first time in 16 years and many renovations. Rick and Melvin came in, and cleaned them. They were very professional, kind and very conscious of our pets. They were careful to keep ducts covered so our cats were unable to "escape".
The difference in our air quality was noticeable right away. We are both breathing more easily and the whole house just smells better.
Rick and Melvin were on time, and did very quality work.
We would recommend Amistee to anyone and everyone. I have given your number to a couple of co=workers already.

Chad and Josh from Amistee were courteous, clean and professional. They took the time to place covers on their shoes, put tarps down and clean up throughly after the service. They cleaned our entire duct system and the dryer vent pipe. We will definitely use Amistee again in a few years or if we purchase another home.

Overall, A very positive experience. Good communication with the scheduling people, letting me know when the crew would arrive. The arrived on time. Set up and made precautions to protect the house where the suction line came in so trim/flooring wouldn't be damaged. Good job explaining what they were doing and used photos to show before/after. They did a thorough job with the ducts and definitely earned their money. The trunk lines in my house are in a crawl space, so they had to spend a lot of time in the hole.
My only concern is that they don't make an effort to remove registers or ask to remove registers when they start cleaning so that initial cleaning tends to blast dust back into the house. Tyler F., Rick e. 05/12/14 |

We had Amistee clean our Air Duct vents including our dryer vent. Chad and Darren were prompt, professional and thorough. We always appreciate it when service professionals are conscientious about protecting our carpeting and walls when working in our home. Chad and Darren made sure they did so.
Chad answered all of our questions. They also checked and replaced the humidifier filter in our furnace system.

Jake and Melvin did a great job for us! They took time to explain the process and were very thorough and professional. I was also surprised at how efficiently they operated, getting the job done in only 1.5 hours. We had an extremely dirty system, having gotten the house from my father who was a lifelong smoker. Immediately after they left, my fiancé and I noticed a difference. She has been struggling with allergies and hay fever. Having this done helped noticeably.
