My experience with Amistee staff was great -- from setting up the appointment, to the reminder call, to letting me know they were on their way, to the actual cleaning process. When Heather called this morning to let me know the guys were on their way, she was very kind and thorough. Chad and Josh reviewed the process before they got started. Never having the ducts cleaned before, several times I went downstairs to observe. The guys were very knowledgeable in explaining the cleaning process, and patient with all my questions. Chad and Melvin gave us a call in the morning we expecting them to arrive from 11-1. They were able to show up early :) . Upon arrival extremely nice and pleasant to work with. Did a great job very professional and treated our home with respect wearing booties. We had a cat and they made sure we were able to locate and hold her in a room so she would not be scared. Since I had this done on one of the coldest days of the year they mad e sure I was staying warm by working on one side of my house. First time homeowner first time researching getting air duct cleaning work. For my 1300 sq ft home the original cost was about $360 and there was a $30 off coupon on their website. I appreciated that regardless of the amount of work that needed to be done and the interesting way the furnace of my bi-level home is set up that they didn't need to charge more.
For the special features such as replacing my air filter and adding an additional sanitizer cleaning to the furnace itself of course was extra. Yes i did buy into both but it wasn't out of feeling pressured, i did it because the previous homeowner was a smoker had multiple pets and there was previous water damage to the home, and my air filter was looking pretty scary.
I did receive my curtsy call about a 30 minutes before they arrived. Very professional very respectful of my cats. Both of the workers were willing to talk to the "woman of the house" and not just the man that also lives here.
The work took about an hour, they showed us the before and after pictures, gave us the option to have the pictures emailed to us if desired. They used drop clothes in the primary areas where they were working and wore shoe covers the whole time they were in my home.

¿I recently purchased a new home and was shocked when I heard that it would be a good idea to get my ducts cleaned before we moved in, however I am sure am glad we did! I contacted Amistee and their contractors arrived on time and were professional and courteous throughout the entire process, and after seeing the before and after pictures from the work they did, I realize now that choosing Amistee and having my ducts cleaned before moving in was one of the wisest decisions I have ever made.
