It's too soon to tell what the overall impact will be on the air we breathe in our home but the service itself and the professionalism of the office staff over the past several months gave me no doubts I hired the right company for this work. I've had to reschedule a couple times due to damage in the home due to the rough winter and subsequent repairs, and they were courteous. They were also great with reminding me of the appointment and calling when the crew left for my home. I did not feel pressure from them to nail down a date on the calendar. As other reviewers mentioned, they immediately put covers on their shoes and got to work. Everything was explained to me in advance. Some people may feel differently but they showed me filters that were in desperate need of changing and suggested a cleaning on the dryer vent. Great idea and something that was needed, though perhaps they may want to suggest that these services are offered as some people will react as though they are being nickeled and dimed. For me it was something I wanted to do but was not aware it was one of their services. Very clean and professional in appearance as well. I am so impressed with Amistee's service. Rick and Tommy showed up on time after a courtesy call that they were on the way. They put on shoe covers as soon as they walked in. They were very respectful of the new floors and paint with padding and drop cloths. They were very pleasant and explained everything before they started. My friend that was there helping me move was so impressed, she's going to book an appt too and I get a gas card for the referral!! Love these guys. My ducts are beautiful- they showed me before and after pics-yucky!! I feel much better with the system being sanitized, the furnace cleaned out (there were drywall chunks!) and the new filter was the cherry on top!! Would use again in a heartbeat. It's not very often that a company exceeds your expectations but Amistee has done it! I was impressed with the web site and even more impressed when they showed up for the appointment a little early, hopped out of the truck and greeted me with a friendly greeting and a professional appearance. They did an excellent job and were very conscience of cleaning up behind themselves. The only thing that could have made me a little more impressed was if they would have brought me lunch! Rick and Tommy arrived precisely at the time agreed to. They explained the entire process and covered all of the pathways for the vacumn hose. They spent about 2 1/2 hours thorougly cleaning every duct in our condo. I was able to observe the amount of dirt, debris and dust in the furnance filter area before it was finally removed. The duct cleaning specailists arrived at the appointed time. Both men were very professional indicating what would be done. They asked if I had any questions. Rick and Josh were really courteous and I believe did a really good job cleaning. The one big thing that could have caused a major problem was that they didn't clean up good after they were finished. I still had a bunch of little metal scraps from the duct holds they drilled out and dust balls all around my furnace. If I hadn't noticed and didn't thoroughly vacuum up the scrap metals, my kids and their friends would have gotten their little feet cut up from playing in the basement. So one Hugh suggestion would be to make sure your guys take a vacuum and clean up ALL the mess! A broom and dust pan will NOT do the job. Rick e., Josh R. 04/15/14 |
