This review is for Rick and Barry : Duct cleaning has to be one of the best cost-to-value services going. The work at my house was done by Rick and Barry. They showed up promptly and were all about the job. Clean , efficient and busy. They worked non stop the whole time they were here. The dryer was a last minute add-on and I couldn’t believe all the lint that was pulled out of the machine. The dryer works better . Afterwards air flow in the house was improved -vents flowed freely. Great job good result glad we used the service. I can breathe again! House is 70 years old and probably never had a duct cleaning- there is no denying the result and the value of this service Mike M. 08/23/22 |

The techs arrived on time and were very professional. Their work was quick, neat, clean, and thorough. They even used a curtain at the front door to reduce the risk of bugs/critters from getting inside!! They gave me updates as they went along as well as explained what they were doing. Amistee arrived on time and cleaned the air ducts in my house. The technician ***** described the cleaning procedure in detail prior to beginning. The two technicians were courteous and careful to keep the home clean as they worked from room to room. As they completed their service, a quality control person arrived from Amistee to inspect the job and inquire if I had any issues or questions. Rob communicated job details of the work. He did an excellent job and went above and beyond the cleaning he was hired to do. I also opted for a new dryer vent cover for the exterior of the house and it looks great! The drying time for my clothes has significantly decreased since he has provided service. My basement had flooded two month after I bought my house so this cleaning was part of a flood remediation. Barry and his associate arrived early and notified me prior to their arrival. They did a great job cleaning the filthy furnace/air ducts that had likely never been cleaned even before the basement flooded. They helped me find where the filter on my furnace goes (there wasn’t one in there) and even gave me tips about replacing my unsafe dryer vent. We had Rob S. from Amistee come clean our dryer vents. He was promptly there are the beginning of the time window and explained everything that had to be done and how long it would take. When he showed me the pictures at the end I was appalled to see how much had accumulated in our dryer vent! The process of scheduling was great and there wasn’t a very long wait, about 3-4 weeks. Ryan P and Preston D and their team came to my home to clean all my vents and seal all of the ductwork with Aeroseal. Before they started they measured a loss of 38% of duct leakage. When they left it was less than 2%. They were incredibly prompt, clean, and efficient. They protected all of my walls, floors, and completely covered and protected all of my basement contents. I contacted Amistee to clean my dryer vent, which was long overdue for a cleaning. The job ended up taking longer than expected due to years’ worth of lint and pet hair buildup. I cannot recommend this company enough !! Very professional. Rob & Preston did a great job. Rob found a leak in my cold air return the size of a football and repaired it for me. I had a heating and cooling company come out and they said everything was fine with my cold air return that was blowing cold in the winter and heat in the summer.
