Having purchased a condo that was 16 years old, we knew it would be a good idea to have the duct work cleaned since we were certain it had never been done since new construction. Checking the internet, Amistee Duct Cleaning became the clear choice to hire for the job and was relieved to find out they would travel so far to our location. Was a little apprehensive since we had had a bad experience in Florida a few years earlier with a duct cleaning job, but Barry and partner renewed our faith in what customers could and should expect from this type of service; it was first class in every aspect. We appreciate all the precautions they took to protect our floor, woodwork and carpet from any potential damage or soil. Also, the office staff was extremely customer friendly and were so adept in keeping us informed in the way of a prior day reminder of the appointment, and calling to let us know what the ETA was for the technicians the day of the cleaning. I must say we have never experienced this degree of professionalism throughout our many years of dealing with businesses. Chad and Melvin were the technicians who came to my home. They were extremely friendly, and informative. I have had contractors in and out of my home for the last two months and by far this service was the most enjoyable. They entered by acing booties on their shoes. Barry and Dan were very prompt and professional. They covered their feet before setting foot in my house, and laid down thick tarp on the carpeted stairways. They answered all my questions, explained thoroughly what they were going to do, and worked efficiently and with great care. The before-and-after pix are quite compelling. I am so glad I had this done and I appreciated their advice about how many years I can wait to do it again. They also cleaned out my dryer duct and said that, even though I have been regularly using a long brush, the vent was still a mess. AND, they were so considerate of my housebound elderly indoor cat. Chad and Melvin arrived on time, went straight to work. I was impressed with how efficient they worked while still being thorough. Haven't ever had the ducts cleaned before, already I can smell a clean air scent, very slight with the deodorizer they use. Very happy and breathing cleaner.
