This is the first time I have used Allen's Plumbing, and being a Grade 4 Wastewater operator, know what it is to deal with professionals. Giovanni was as true of a professional as I could have hoped to have gotten. He dove in, so to speak, on our problem, going above and beyond the call to solve our issue. Glenn Silva is an excellent drain cleaner. He gave me terrific information and suggestions as to how to improve my drainage.
He did a fantastic and real fast service to un-clog my shower drain.
He came over very quickly from his previous job in Pearl City to fix my problem in Aina Haina.
I would not hestitate to call Allen's Plumbing if I should ever need help with clog drains or any plumbing needs.

Today, my home was serviced by Kenneth "Kamaka" from Allens Plumbing. I have lived in Hawaii for more than 35 years and, having had plumbing problems on several occasions, I can honestly say that Allens Plumbing is the best company I've dealt with. Their technician (Kenneth Faborito) is an excellent representative of their company. He exhibited an excellent knowledge of his business. We had contacted two highly recommended local plumbing companies. Both misdiagnosed our shower water temperature problem by telling us we needed a diverter valve. They also said we would have to rip out the shower tile to give them access to replace the diverter. We decided to call a third company and were so glad we selected Allen's Plumbing. Giovanni came out and correctly diagnosed the problem as being a Positemp cartridge that is inside the shower valve. He also said there is no diverter valve as we only have a shower and no shower over tub which would require the valve to divert water from the tub to the shower.
Giovanni replaced the cartridge and we now have water temperatures that can be adjusted once again. Oh, and we didn't have to rip out tile and incur a costly, time consuming repair that wasn't needed in the first place!

Telephone girls were great but service tech was not. I specifically stated the problem to a manager and was assured at least two times the tech would have the parts on hand that they were standard stock on the truck. The tech claimed he did not have the parts and said he would return in a few minutes. He did not show up for almost an hour while my renters waited. The tech had less than an hour on the actual repair and charged a rip-off price of over $300. I find this criminal. 12/30/14 |
