I liked the fact that he mentioned that their price might be higher than some others.

I was very impressed with Allens Plumbing speedy service repair. James Rosenburg the service specialist, arrived at the exact time the dispatcher said he would and was able to locate the plumbing problem within minutes of his arrival. His calm and professional demeanor took some of the tension out of the unfortunate situation. I needed a repair to my hot water heater. When I called, Cheryl efficiently asked for details about the problem and equipment specifications, and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Kaohu called the next morning to confirm (at exactly the time promised!) and Jeremiah arrived shortly thereafter. He did a great job - it was more complicated than we thought, and he clearly explained what repairs were needed, the cost, and all the options available so I could make an informed decision. Sent him after two hour window, not a big deal, but I had to call, so maybe a little heads up next time as I had to cancel another appointment.

Allan's Plumbing is the best customer service experience I have had for plumbing repairs ... or ANY home repairs for that matter..
Allan's whole team is highly professional, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The repairs were completed skillfully and quickly.
Initial contact, scheduling and rescheduling the appointment, the repair and the payment were seamless.
I recommend Allan's Plumbing without reservation.
I called late Thursday night ....
Friday morning everything was arranged ... to my schedule for Friday afternoon..
My schedule changed unexpectedly and i called 30 minutes before the appointment to reschedule an hour later than the original appointment. No worries ....
I got home three minutes before the revised appointment time .... three minutes later a knock on the door....... thirty minutes later the repairs were complete. Family life returns to contented normality.

We had a bad leak in our bath, but Kamaka came, checked it out, gave me a price quote - very reasonable, btw! - and fixed it all under an hour!!! He also called before coming, arrived on time, and made the whole experience pleasant. We were dreading a long drawn out thing where I'd be stuck at home waiting for the repair to be completed, and were expecting a bill a lot larger than we got. We also signed up for a 3-year membership because this is an old house and something else will probably happen with our other plumbing within the next 3 years. We'll get discounted rates, VIP priority 24-hour service, and a free annual inspection of all our plumbing. I had to write this review because what we were dreading turned out to be painless! Kainani booked my appointment quickly! James was able to diagnose and clear the clogs in our sink and bathtub in less than an hour. First guy who came did not follow appropriate protocol, which led to another clog only a week later. Was forced to call in another plumber from Allen's Plumbing who was able to fix the problem, but mentioned that the first guy should have followed protocol. Manager mentioned that he would speak with the first plumber but failed to get any response back from him. Ended up paying for both services, which should have only taken one fix. Will never use nor recommend this plumbing service to anyone. Very disappointed with how the management dealt with the situation, poor customer service overall. 03/01/15 |

My daughter recommended Allens Plumbing as I was unable to contact my regular plumber. My call was taken promptly and professionally with the customer service rep and the dispatcher understanding exactly what I needed and the work that needed to be done. I was sent in my opinion the BEST technician in the islands. His name was Nick and I would highly recommend him for any and all plumbing work you need. My bath tub fixtures, valves, overflow, drain and tub spout needed to be replaced. It doesn't sound like a hard job but given that they were never replaced in close to 50 years was another story. Without Nick''s knowledge and skills I am not sure if the job could ever been completed by someone else and at the very fair price that Allens charges. I had a blocked drain that was leaking sewage and backing up all house drains. This is not a good situation and can get nasty real fast. I called in the morning and by 9:30a, they sent a team over. The guys that came to do the service call were were professional and knowledgable about the what to do. They were also clear about pricing and the scenarios. In my case, they attempted to snake it for $260 or so with the hope it could free the blockage. They clearly explained this was only an attempt and might not work. They did try their best using the snake method but were unsuccessful. Using another more powerful and specialized (and expensive) method, they cleared the blockage and verified it for me.
I have a regular guy I call for plumbing, but in this case where it was urgent and a specialized issue, I decided to call Allen's. I think where the situation calls for a specialized solution that involves drains, these guys, despite the higher cost, would be able to resolve any problem completely. Rather than calling a more general plumbing company that might not have the necessary tools or knowledge, these guys can address your drain issues without a doubt. Glenn S. 02/25/15 |

This our second time Allens Plumbing has come to our home and each visit was always with respect and fully explained,. What I liked is the quote before the job starts since we are senior's James Bretanus did the service twice and was very professional and cleaned up the area when he was done and made sure we was satisfied before he left.
