I used to use a different company but decided to change as a result of disappointing service. I'm glad I did. I called Allens Plumbing and was greeted in a courteous and professional manner. The process was clearly and concisely explained to me, then I was transferred to a dispatcher who displayed the same professionalism. He was able to get a plumber over that very day (despite it being Christmas Eve). Kamaka arrived, had me sign the necessary paperwork and proceeded to give me an estimate of the work. He was able to clearly and concisely explain his diagnosis and answer my questions. He didn't have the parts so he made an appointment for 9 am on 26 DEC (note: he did not give me a time range like certain cable companies, he gave me a specific time and showed up early). He did a fair job of cleaning up after the work was done. I was so satisfied with the quality of work that I plan to use him for future renovations. Will recommend him without hesitation. Thanks for asking. I was charged for a diagnostic from one Allen's Plumber. He said I needed a new master bathroom faucet. I called Allen's Plumbing to install it. Another plumber arrived and found that the first diagnosis was incorrect. The problem wasn't the faucet. Then I was charged for a SECOND diagnostic, plus the actual work. Problem solved. But, not satisfied that I was charged for TWO diagnostics for the same problem. All involved were polite. But we feel we are still owed a refund on the duplicate diagnostic charges. My son ran over a pipe outside and I had water leaking all over. I called Allens Plumbing and they responded quickly. My technician was Glenn Silva who quickly turned off the water and went way above and beyond the call of duty trying to trace down the archaic 1930s plumbing system that was modified by successive home owners. I appreciated the quick response and willingness to figure out what was happening instead of quickly taking the easy way out. I chose Allens based on the reviews I saw here. There were more positives than negatives. The negs seemed to be price related. As a construction worker myself, I understand the cost of business. I try to put myself in their shoes and think about what I would charge for the home visit, parts and labor and agree with their cost.
I had a leaky shower faucet and needed an old shut off valve replaced. Total cost $420 including parts.
The plumber (George) was very professional and courteous. He scoped the job, explained everything to me that needed to be done and had the necessary parts with him. He finished rather quickly and he seemed to like his job and take pride in it. I received great service with a short lesson on plumbing theory. Jeremiah did a spectacular job installing a garbage disposal for me. The type I had available to install was the wrong size and I thought I would have to call him back. However, he was prepared with other models in his truck and the job got done. Jeremiah is delight to work with. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable, and explained various options to me, including ways to save money (which I truly appreciated). I would call him in an instant to handle my plumbing needs and appreciate that he and the company go the extra mile to be courteous and considerate, even putting booties on over their shoes as they enter your home to keep it clean. Jeremiah of Allen's Plumbing was a delight to work with. The garbage disposal I had to install was not the right size, however, he saved the day by having other options in his truck so the job could be done right away. He is kind and courteous and he and the company go the extra mile, even putting booties on over their shoes to keep your home clean. Jeremiah Abreu and Allen's Plumbing are first class all the way. Everyone was superb, from the customer service rep to the dispatcher. There was a mandatory $50 service fee that was applied to the bill once the plumber Kamaka came out and fixed my kitchen sink leak. He also fixed a leak from my upstairs tub that was ruining my downstairs ceiling. He showed my his pricing book, so the work was by the job, not by the hour. The entire job was A LOT less than my wife and I feared.
Kamaka also showed my where the leak was coming from, how the leak was caused, how the plumbing system worked, etc. He showed me some mold that was growing due to the moisture and sprayed the area down with a bleach mixture. Then he cleaned up the area really well. (He had to cut into the ceiling drywall to get at the pipes). Very good service.
I recommend Kamaka and Allens Plumbing and would use them again. In fact, I'm recommending to my community association (I'm on the board of directors) to use them for any commercial repairs we need to do. Kamaka F., Dickie J., Kainani J., Isaiah K. 12/18/14 |

This has been plaguing us for a long time. We thought it was going to be very expensive, but it was actually a LOT less than we had expected. He was as courteous and professional as he was yesterday for a different job. He cleaned up the area well and even sprayed down the attic space with bleach formula to take care of some mold that had grown. Again, we would definitely recommend him and Allens Plumbing. Keoki is a fabulous plumber, person & representative of the company. He provided excellent service with a wonderful positive attitude and I would highly recommend Keoki and Allen's Plumning. The service I received was amoung the best service I have ever experienced and would put it amoung the top in the world and label it as a diamond class company. I called at 2 p.m., received a response within 15 minutes and the major job was complete by 4:30p.m.. Outstanding!

technician. George is not only personable and knowledgeable, but he keeps his work area
clean and organized. I called this time to have a new disposal installed, but when he was
installing the disposal, George noted that the drain basket on the other side of the sink was
corroded and pointed it out to me. He said that it didn't need to be changed right then, but it
would probably need changing in the near future. So I had him change it. George is a great

Before he left, he came back to the house to ask if he could show me a few things. He pointed out some maintenance issues and then let me know if the system held up for only two more years, I'd be eligible for new tax credits to replace the solar.

Allen's Plumbing has been doing our plumbing work since 2010. Our first experience was an sos call from me to Alllen's to see if they could fix a job done by a bathroom remodeling company here on Oahu. The shower head was placed so high on the wall, no could reach it without a step ladder. We were about to have Canadian guests for a week and were desperate. The people at Allen's came within 24 hours, fixed or shower, replaced he faucet hardware for the shower and sink, and made the bathroom look like the remodel were thought we would have had with the other company. At the completion of the job, the plumber offered us the option of joining Allen's Plumbing club for a nominal fee to last 10 years. With this membership, which we gladly took, we are given a discount on any plumbing projects and we are given a yearly inspection of our plumbing. Sounds unimportant - Not So ! The first year after our initial joining and during the yearly inspection, the water heater was found to be unsafe. We didn't realize we had this water heater for almost 20 years. As the next four years came and went and we had our yearly inspections, our plumbing is up to code, all faucets, and more have been replaced or fixed. Our house is 49 years old and much of the plumbing had been stop-gap replaced. Allen's had given us peace of mind and brought our house to a level of being all to sell once we decide the time has come to down size.

Wow I was so impressed with how George helped us so friendly and knowledgeable! We tried a few other places and none would even come out to look at the problem. When George got to our house he explained what the work would entail gave us a few options and when it got late even offered to stay to fix it but we said just come back the next morning. He had to call his boss in for help but they found the problem quickly and explained what they would do to fix it. Giovanni was kind, courteous and very professional. We have very hard water and live in a small condo so a softener has not been an option. My service techs were Giovanni Di Costa & Jeremia Abreu. Both of these guys were so pleasant to talk to. Giovanni gave me all my options and his explanations were very understanding. I enjoyed these two men very much. Both made me feel at ease and their work were so clean and well done. I had a toilet replaced, a garbage disposal replaced and a leaking outside faucet repaired. All done in the same day. They both respected my home. . .Always wore cover on their shoes, always clean, clean, clean.
