Allens Plumbing sent specialist same day to repair or replace water heater. Giovanni Di Costa arrived and began to thoroughly troubleshoot and explain what he was doing and why. His diagnosis was quick. He had all the parts we needed in his professionally stocked truck and within an hour we had hot water again. Giovanni was very polite,courteous and superbly professional! I admit to some trepidation about the visit from Allen's, given the number of poor reviews and complaints about high quotes, but my technician was friendly and accommodating. I still don't like the idea of a $50 visit fee, but if it's applied to the cost of the work, I guess that's okay. Anyway, my guy gave me a member discount and the coupon discount, which brought the cost down to merely expensive instead of obscenely expensive. He replaced the kitchen faucet quickly and efficiently, and even replaced the soap dispenser that I'd completely forgotten to mention, without adding it to the bill. Most importantly, for me, was that I got service the day after I called, and the job was done promptly and properly. He even took all the old-faucet junk away in the new faucet's box. Review of Giovanni Di Costa: We had one of those mystery plumbing problems and Giovanni helped us figure it out. He was like a hound on a sent and was not going to give up until it was found and fixed. It turned out to be a very unpleasant, moldy job but his attitude remained very positive all along. He pointed out ways that we could spare some expense and explained in detail and recommended we install a water de-scaler. We might. Great, fast, courteous, and competent service. I'll never use anyone else. I had an urgent call for a clogged sink at my condo in Maui, and the technician Giovanni arrived on time, was an enormous help, solved my problem, and charged me a reasonable price. I am often on the mainland and away from Maui, so to have confidence in a company when I am trouble shooting issues thousands of miles away makes a huge difference. Justin is professional and an exemplary model of service excellence. He explained his process in a way which made me feel comfortable and assured that any potential hiccups would be handled. In light of a slightly leaky shut-off valve, Justin persisted and got the job done. He made me aware of potential future issues with the shut off valve and the plugging of a low outdoor shower drain, and gave his professional opinions on what might be done about them.
Also, I am very appreciative of Kane and the entire dispatch team's ability to pull together a next day appointment for me when I called Friday, crossing my fingers that I could have a Saturday appointment. The speed which I received an appointment is very much appreciated since I am in the process of trying to get a building permit and much depends on when you return the corrections to the County. George was AWESOME! I definitely will call Allen's Plumbing for all my plumbing issues. He was very friendly, professional, and was straight up with me. He did a walk through of my house, and explained everything he was doing. George fixed all my plumbing issues and even recommended some things to help me in the future. I tried to get online earlier but was not able to.
Justin was great and he actually wanted to finish the job in one day and made several trips to get supplies in order to do so. One issue led to another and he persisted until all was taken care of. And he was multitalented since he had to take the outside wall of my house off and replaced it in a very creative way!! Carpenter/plumber/charmer!! It was great fun to watch. Allen's has always been responsive to my needs. As a person who has a full time job and has little 'regular' time at home, I really appreciate your regular price weekend service....who ever thought of that was a genius!!
