I was told on the phone about the service charge just for the visit and I accepted thinking I would use your service for sure because I had no heat. Then the tech told me that it was going to cost $436 just to change one thermostat which is outrageous. I paid the $ and then got someone else to fix it for $180 almost 60% cheaper than your cost for the same work. How can you charge such ridiculous prices like that? I will never use you again nor recommend you and my word of mouth slandering will be pretty harsh to all of my friends and family. 12/11/13 |

Aiello was very knowledgeable on all aspects of home energy efficiency. They saved me close to $700/year and gave great advice for additional savings. As always, Aiello was fantastic. This was an after hours call on my heating system in the winter. Not only did the technician arrive when they said he would, but Stephen took the time to make sure that everything was working properly and that all my questions/concerns were answered before leaving. Being a former technician in another field myself, I know it is not exactly fun being called out after hours but it is a necessary evil of the business. Tim and Jesse were great. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They were able to save me about $700/year in reduced energy costs after their energy audit, which cost me only $100. They also gave me advice on how I can get additional savings through home improvements, and gave me information on the rebates provided by the state. I made an appointment with Aiello to service my furnace. To my surprise, I was able to make the appointment on the weekend and at no extra cost. You do have to be home all day to wait for their service man to arrive because they don t give set times for weekend appointments, but it worked out perfect for me since I was home cleaning all day anyway and I didn t have to lose time from work. I called on a Friday and got a Sunday appointment. Perfect. When the service man arrived he was clean and cordial and even put on shoe protectors to not track dirt in the house. Once at the furnace we talked about the service he was going to perform and I got a chance to ask all the questions I wanted. Taking care of the furnace is something new for me and there is lots I don t understand or know about this machine. He was very informative and was almost like an educational experience. He could tell when i didn t understand something and would re-explain it without seeming to get frustrated with me. I asked questions before, during and after his work and he was very thorough and knowledgeable with his answers. He did his job clean and neat and even wiped down the whole machine when he was done. At the end, we sat and discussed his findings and he gave his recommendations. I was very pleased with the service and felt he was very knowledgeable and professional.
