I needed emergency service on my oil furnace and called several places for help; however one couldn’t come out until the next day and 2 never called back. Aeillo Home Services not only answered but explained their pricing and gave me a call back when the technician was on his way, which in my case was only an approximate one hour wait. The Technician, Clay, was very professional, assessed the job and told me exactly what it would cost to fix the problem. Take it from a guy who tries to fix things himself...I will forever call Aiello from now on. Specifically ask for Patrick. My furnace stopped working and I was out of luck. Called Aiello. They offered SAME DAY SERVICE! He came out and changed everything needed. The price was fair and didn't exceed what he quoted me. Told me about some additional things to keep it running and I opted for those as well. He went to work and then an hour later the furnace was running great. Just in time for the 4degree nights we're having. Can't say enough good things about Patrick and the service Aiello provides. I'll never touch it again myself. I'll leave it to the Pro's. AIR CONDITIONING
Sometimes a/c problems crop up that defy easy diagnosis. If you call the wrong company you'll be at risk of paying through the nose for hours of ineffective work without ever achieving a satisfactory fix. Well, we had such a problem last summer with our unit, but we called the right company: Aiello Home Services... and our ailing a/c unit was cost-effectively repaired. Here is the story: Aiello sent us Shawn F. (and we are exceedingly glad of it!). Shawn did not rest until he had isolated the problem - which was not an easy matter. He had the technical knowledge, the intellect and the stamina to get it done. Our a/c unit suffered from (what turned out to be) a hidden wiring fault. Deducing and isolating its most likely location required no less than master detective work. I should also emphasize that Shawn was ably and efficiently supported by technicians in his home office. They solved the mystery as a team; and once that was done Shawn quickly fixed the problem. We weren't billed for every hour of Aiello's considerable detective work; we were billed mainly for the cost of fixing the hidden wiring fault. Of course, we were delighted!
HEATING SYSTEM
We have a Buderus furnace. The unit has always worked perfectly, but, for reasons unrelated to the furnace, we were not getting its full benefit. It was a problem with our heating zones and the inability of thermostat controllers to be programmed and to deliver a uniformly comfortable temperature in every room. Once again, Shawn came to our rescue! Working very methodically (1) he took pains to understand the situation that he found; (2) he figured out its shortcomings; and (3) he proposed an integrated heating-zone & thermostat solution aimed at increasing our overall heating comfort in a cost-effective way. We accepted his proposal. All his thoughtful work (in heating system design and installation) paid off! Despite the harshness of this winter we have never been more comfortable in our home!
ENERGY AUDIT
Shawn was here recently to replace an old power head to our heating system which had failed. Because he knew our system "inside and out" it took him no time at all to do the work. When he was finished, we got to talking about what else we could do to improve our heating and cooling situation. He told us about Aiello's energy audit program. We were very interested; it seems like exceptional value. We've scheduled one. I'm certain we made a good decision and our home will be much the better for the energy audit and it's outcome.
HONESTY & INTEGRITY
Lastly, we have worked with Aiello for about 20 years. As you can tell we are exceedingly happy with the relationship. We are particularly impressed with Shawn, but we know that he represents a company that likewise values high standards of honesty and integrity. I was very happy with the Aiello service during my energy assessment. There were only 2 discrepancies. Our furnace was turned off during the assessment, but was not turned back on after the assessment. Secondly, the thermostats were turned up during the testing and never returned to my settings after the assessment.

Alex and Jason performed an energy assessment on my home. They entered my home and donned coveralls over their snowy shoes. They explained what they were going to do, had me sign a couple of documents, and proceeded with the energy assessment. They plugged air leaks identified from the door blower test. When finished with their repairs, Alex explained the rebates and then gave me a bill for the assessment. I was very happy with their performance and had only one complaint. They forgot to turn my furnace back on before leaving. I discovered this oversight while trying to wash dishes. There was no hot water. Again, I was very pleased with this professional audit. I've used Aiello for HVAC service (routine and emergency) for several years. Their technicians are well trained and do the job right, for the price quoted, the first time. Their customer service people also do a good job scheduling appointments. Bottom line, it is a well-run HVAC company. There may be cheaper alternatives, but I have never found one that am comfortable with, and I have used many. Today Michael K did an emergency service call on my furnace. the aiello techs provided a great home energy audit. tim took the time to go through all the audit steps he and jason were going to take to complete my audit. they completed a comprehensive list of checks, and spent almost 8 hours doing the audit. they did a lot of work including changing out bulbs to cfls, filling holes in the basement ceiling, sealing my duct work where patches had previously been incorrectly sealed by another contractor, sealing vent pipe leaks and filling in holes under the sinks where warm air could be leaking. tim and jason were professional and thorough, and left the house clean. the relatively small fee paid for the home audit was well worth the service and useful information i received from the process.
