Jose Dimas serviced our AC on our most recent call to ARS. He was very friendly and professional. He explained the situation in understandable terms. He outlined one completely unrelated issue which we opted for him to take care of during the same visit. He is a great employee! You're lucky to have him.

Mr. Dimas has appeared at our home on a couple of different occasions when having our HVAC serviced. He is a very friendly young man and explained in understandable detail what the plan should be. We are long time customers of ARS and Mr. Dimas joins a long line of highly competent and friendly service experts. ARS is fortunate to have him in its employ.

My AC unit died over the winter, unbeknownst to me, until the summer season temps started getting pretty high and I tried to crank it on. Undoubtedly this is a busy time for ARS, but they scheduled a next morning service call for me (a Friday). Alfredo was the AC whiz kid on the response team. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and professional. All of my (many) questions were answered candidly, which goes much farther in earning my trust than a canned sales pitch. Although initially we thought repairs would be delayed until the following Monday awaiting necessary parts, he hustled behind the scenes and moved repairs up first to Saturday morning and then to later that same afternoon after managing to source the materials. He returned with a partner (Christian Martinez) and the two made quick work of a major repair in a hot and narrow attic space. I would definitely recommend this team (in fact, I already have! - lol - my neighbor noticed the service vans in my driveway and stopped to inquire about it). I could say more, but reviews that are too long don't get read...I'm already pushing the limit. (: Bottom line: 5 stars and well deserved

Air conditioning went out, Xavier was our technician, he was very professional, courteous and compassionate. Xavier went out of his way to get the problem fixed in a very timely manner. He kept us informed of everything that was going on during the whole time . You are very lucky to have an employee such as Xavier working for you. He is definitely an asset to your company

I've had an ongoing issue with my HVAC flame sensor for years! 5+ technicians from 3+ different companies (including ARS) fixed the symptoms but never the actual problem. The heat stopped working every 30-60 days due to a dirty flame sensor. I asked why this kept happening. Each tech just shrugged and tucked my checks into their pockets. After multiple cleanings, a new flame sensor, a new control panel, another flame sensor, more cleanings and lots more money, i had the same issue a few weeks later. Rich is the only technician to diagnose the actual problem and recommend a long term solution.

My technician, Deonte, arrived on time. He was dressed professionally and took great care to protect the inside of my home with booties. He explained everything he was doing and even gave me some advise on another issue I was having (not related to his call). ARS / Durham is my HVAC company of choice and will use them for all needs from now on.

Xavier came out to do our regularly scheduled AC inspection and was so thorough, really taking the time to walk me through the different components of our system and highlighting things that were major immediate concerns, as well as educating me on things to be aware of and changes to make in the future. As a first-time homeowner, I really appreciated his patience and kindness in teaching me things I do not know about HVAC systems, and I felt very much at ease asking him for his professional opinion on which avenues I should pursue. This is the second time I have been VERY pleased with a tech from ARS; earlier this year, Louis came out when our furnace would not stay on during a 2-week super cold spell and crouched down in my crawl space with me for 3 hours on 2 separate evenings to troubleshoot a solution to get our drain line to flow properly. These guys really, really know their stuff and I feel very confident in their diagnoses of our systems. Thanks ARS!!

My husband and I had a new HVAC system installed two years ago by ARS and have had regular services ever since. This morning's visit was from Xavier and he did a thorough job and gave me up to date information on all the services the company offer.
