Installed a new HVAC and duct work through Home Depot. Best price by a few thousand. They have been back a few times to make adjustments / repair a faulty thermostat valve at no cost. Jim Cameron worked with my budget and got the job done. Mike Piercy followed up with me and verified the system is operating to the designed specifications. They have gone above and beyond their scope of work to make sure I was happy.

Roberto was very kind, gentlemanly and professional. He was very knowledgeable as to my HVAC system, and went over and above what I had expected. He changed the cold air return filters, and even took the grill covers outside to hose off and dry. WOW ! I explained that my husband had died recently and he was sympathetic and extremely kind, and explained how often I needed to change the filters, and as to the fan vs. auto settings on the thermostats. Thank you Roberto !

Although I wasn't happy with my 2year old unit not working I did get great service. The blower motor in my unit is going bad. Doug did the diagnostic work and found that the motor was bad. He didn't just pack up and leave afterwards but he did what he could to at least get the unit running. He told me that he was on call for the weekend and that if I had any problems to call him for help. He'll return next week to replace the blower

In the seventeen years we have owned our home, we have used only ARS for maintenance and repair of our AC/Heating system. Our unit needed to be replaced and after getting all options from the technician (Preston) and new unit options from sales (Jim C), we had a new unit installed by James and Jonathon who arrived at the appointed time, worked continuously until the job was completed. They were polite, neat, and careful, and did not disturb the house. We would highly recommend ARS for heating/air-conditioning work.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with ARS Charleston and my "comfort adviser" Mark Bily - He was professional and very helpful. I was unsure of the system I needed for my guest house and he took the time to explain all of my options while helping me understand the cost benefits and pros and cons to each system option. I would highly recommend ARS and Mark to anyone interested in adding a ductless or full house AC system to your home. I am very happy with the whole process and feel very satisfied with my system and experience.

After being away from our home for an extended period of time we walked in to a house with the temperature of 89 degrees. It was Friday night. We were able to contact ARS and they put us in touch with Roberto, the on-duty emergency technician. Roberto rushed over to our home and spent 2 hours fixing repairing the a/c unit and making sure the thermostat was working properly. Roberto was a life saver. We would not have been able to sleep in our home. I recommend using ARS as your HVAC company. ARS is very lucky to have Roberto on their team. RB, North Charleston

After several hot and humid days on a Saturday afternoon our A/C decided to take a vacation. We had used ARS before for plumbing problems so we gave them a call about the A/C. I was about ready to start calling motels when my wife called. Operator said someone would soon call. We were then told someone would call when they were on the way to checkout the A/C. Doug called and said he would be there shortly. Within 30 minutes of arrival Doug had found and fixed two problems and had the A/C running. Even though it was hot and humid Doug was very courteous and kept us informed of what was going on. As a former service tech myself I cannot say enough about his professional and caring manner. He is an excellent ambassador for ARS Charleston

I've always had good experiences with ARS Rescue Rooter of Charleston. Doug C. was recently dispatched to my home within 24 hours of me calling ARS. He was prompt, friendly and personable. He had the issue with my AC diagnosed within seconds. Within 15 minutes, my AC was back up and running. I thank ARS Rescue Rooter of Charleston and Doug for the prompt and courteous service. To boot, I discovered we had a hornet's nest in the outdoor electric receptacle box on the front porch only moments before Doug arrived. I called the office to ask them to call the tech so he could come around to the side of the house to not get stung by a hornet - they immediately called him and he when he arrived, he informed me he did get the message. The fact that the operator did what she said she was going to do was impressive - it's hard to find that kind of customer service today.

We have a Geothermal heating&cooling system and have had problems with it for almost four years,then Bruce came out and worked on it. it took bruce about a month of trying to find the cause of the problem,every time he thought he fixed it ,it would work for a day or so then shut down again, but bruce kept trying finely getting the eng. from the manufacture and the man that installed and dug the well together and found the problem and fixed it. Bruce was the only tech. to keep looking and working to solve my problem, Thanks

He knew immediately what was wrong and within 10 minutes the bad part was changed and A/C was restored. Sure I could have called the company who installed it when the house was built 1 1/2 years ago but I had lost faith in them and after ARS arrived and Roberto saved the day I signed a service agreement with ARS. My wife is happy, I'm happy. Great job!!

We have used ARS for years and have never had a bad experience. Every single technician that has stepped foot in our home is professional, punctual, courteous, considerate and knowledgeable of their craft. We always get a courtesy call when the tech is on the way. We get feedback when they are finished. Never feel like they are trying to upsell an un-needed service or product. They say what they will do and they do it... enough said!
