Evan W. was terrific to work with! My review is about him and the service he provided specifically. There was a problem with some paperwork, and he followed up on what he said he would do, even though it involved time, energy, and research on his part. I live with my grandmother and her 60+ year old house had all original plumbing. Needless to say, the house was due for some plumbing work. She called and talked to Evan W. in Customer Service and he got together with one of the ARS plumbers, Tom D., to work up a quote. Tom scoped the job out within 24 hours of my grandmother contacting Evan and estimated that it would take three days of work to get the plumbing up to par. Evan worked out a really good price to help out my grandmother simply because it was the right thing to do and refused any deposit or payment until the work was completed. On the day the work was to start, Tom showed up with two other plumbers and informed her that he was upgrading the type of piping for no additional charge. They were done by the end of the first day and the plumbing was only down for a few hours while the switched the lines over. The ARS staff were professional from start to finish. The Tech was one of the best tech's I have had to service my unit from ARS as long as I have been with ARS (about 30 Years). He was very carefull with my unit, unlike some of the other tech's that have been sent to service my unit. Dan P. 08/30/12 |

I have been thoroughly impressed with Bruce S each time he has come to service our Air Conditioning and Heating system. He is always on time, very efficient and courteous. He always explains what he is doing to me and lets me know what the status of the system is and what it might need by the next time service is needed. ARS did a complete renovation of my heating/air conditioning system in my wonderful, crazy, old house...including replacing all of the ductwork...in December of 2010, and the technicians they sent were awesome. There were a few glitches here and there - but ARS did not ask for final payment until I was happy with everything. Best of all - the new system cut my electric bill in HALF! Recently, I had an equipment failure on the AC...ARS came out the day I called, and the technician quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. It was one of those way over 100 degree days - and he was still as nice as if he were relaxing with a large iced tea. If, in the future, I ever need another major system in my home replaced, ARS will be my first stop for a quote! Dave R. 08/03/12 |

I was called twice prior to my Tech heading over, and that was great. He arrived in a timely fashion, was polite and prepared. He reworked some of the duct taping and took care of the exterior unit as well. He brought in the ladder, cleaned up after himself, and everything seems to be working great! My cousin Kevin had a new air conditioner put in last month by ARS. At the time Evan told him about the Sceg rebates available for him. Kevin was very confused about what kind of air conditioner he had and how if even at all he could get a rebate from them. His salesperson told him to call Evan if he needed help or had another questions after the AC was put in. We called Evan this morning, he promised to identify our new stuff and E mail us a rebate form in a few hours with all the required contractor information. Evan e mailed us back within 20 minutes and left Kevin a voicemail to tell him that he had. Kevin called him later and had some questions which Evan answered instantly. My cousin had no idea that his new AC was worth a $200.00 rebate from the power company. Would you believe they gave us money. Thank you Evan! Evan W. 08/02/12 |

Tom came to my house today for plumbing issues. He was polite, efficient, explained what he was going to need to do and how much it would cost and was quiet while working. I also gave me some useful information regarding a water filtration system for our home.
