I received wonderful service today! My heat went out on us last night so I called ARS at 830am, they had a service person at my door by 10am! Tommy was very knowledgeable in his field, he not only explained my issue but on top of that he offered a service plan for my 14month old home. The cost was a real deal and you could not find a nicer person. Tommy represents this company very well, and I hope they treat their employees as well as they treat the customer! It’s important to recognize and appreciate companies like ARS Recue Rooter /Charleston when they follow up and do the right thing - I had concerns regarding some tears in my HVAC ductwork, ductwork seemed to be pulling away from where it feeds into the air handler. An energy consultant who visited my home brought this to my attention. ARS Resue Rooter of Charleston originally installed HVAC ductwork new air handler into my attic several years ago – upon calling ARS to voice my concerns – Supervisor; Preston quickly made things right. Sending technician Mat S / 1825 over to my home to assess the situation. Matt Smort is a knowledgeable ARS technician who was committed to resolving the issues and alleviating my concerns. Matthew braved the cold today and reviewed both our heat pump systems. He found a damaged wire and corrected it as well as notified us that our UV light is showing signs of wear. We asked how we could protect our heat pump wiring and he gave us a quote for surge protectors. Overall he was excellent, professional and efficient. That's about all a homeowner can ask. David Jackson did a great job the last two visits - one for the semiannual PM and the other to replace my UV bulb. His assessment of the condition of my aging unit was spot on what I was thinking. His confirmation was completely objective which helped me decide whether to take advantage of a great offer for replacing with a much more efficient new unit.
