After SoCal Gas found exhaust leaking from my water heater, I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing. Joe F. was on site within 1/2 hour and remedied all issues promptly, including some from the home inspection, and got the appliance back online. Incredible service! We had a toilet that overflowed onto our wood floors. I called in a panic (wood and water are not a good combination) and TO Plumbing sent Joe right out. I had him snake our 3 lines even though he said only 1 line needed it. Talk about honest, efficient, professional and very reasonably priced. Forget Roto Rooter and call Thousand Oaks Plumbing. I was in need of a plumber right away for a downstairs slab leak and Danny from Thousand Oaks plumbing came out right away to give me a temporary fix. During bathroom renovations, we found that the shower drain was blocked. Despite TOP installing all new drains and under the floor plumbing, it was not draining. Danny Guiney of TOP discovered that the 50-year old original lead drain pipe was almost completely blocked. Within an hour of arriving, Danny cut off the old pipes and installed new ones to the sewer. The shower is running perfectly now and we will get to enjoy our newly renovated master bathroom. Danny, Jesse and the team at Thousand Oaks Plumbing are incredible. We had significantly deteriorated main sewer line at our home and they found the least obtrusive way to replace it while allowing my family to stay in our home. They are knowledgable, professional and take care of my home as though it was their own. I like their honest assessment of needs. The provide solutions for long term reliability while being sensitive of costs and not pushing unneeded services or parts. They are trustworthy and I will certainly be using them again. I am very happy with the way Thousand Oaks Plumbing handled my situation on all levels.
They were very busy the day I called, but they made time for me.
The plumber arrived promptly within the time I was given.
The plumber was very nice, cordial and honest.
He showed me everything he was doing and explained everything in detail so I had a full understanding what was needed to be done, and what will be needed to mitigate major issues in the future.

I had to have a Gate Valve replaced in my home. Brad, the plumber from Thousand Oaks Plumbing arrived to assess the job. He gave me a fair quote for the replacement and the approximate time needed to get the job done. The date for the work was set, he arrived with the necessary parts and made sure all the faucets were open when the water was turned off to ensure no problems could occur during the process of changing the valve. He was courteous and clear with his explanations. The work was completed in a timely manner, and he made sure that all the water was running freely in each bathroom and the kitchen, so that no air was left in the lines. I thought these guys did a good job when they left because they improved the water flow but when I went to hose down the backyard, the yard again became flooded. So I called Ruiz Plumbing. Jorge Ruiz told me that a snake should have been used as opposed to the hydro jet. Within 1 hour, Jorge had every drain snaked. Ruiz Plumbing charged me $525 for some improvement, and Ruiz Plumbing charged me $150 to snake the entire back yard. Lesson learned. 02/24/17 |

Such pros.....Once Danny came out to access our drainage problems, we knew this was the right company for us. Instead of replacing all the old pipes, he recommended, clearing, the sealing them from the inside so roots could not continue to cause major problems for us. An hour later the drains backed up. No one would answer the phone for over an hour. No one could come out again until tomorrow. An agreed upon time of 2:00 for the return visit was made. Called Thousand Oaks Plumbing for an emergency water heater replacement. They showed up in about an hour. Job was completed by Joe in a timely, clean, and complete manner. Joe answered several questions and fully explained the needed equipment including code upgrades. I asked Joe to look at a leaky valve elsewhere in my home and prior to investigating the actual failure quoted at about $175. Joe assessed the valve after the water heater install and found the valve just needed a little tightening. As I expressed to Joe, I really appreciate the honesty of a simple fix versus a more expensive repair. I didn't really have time to do a lot of shopping around for the water heater install, but from other repairs by other plumbing companies, I feel the price was fair. Matthew and Danny were great. They crafted a way to pipe around the slab leak with minimum damage to the walls. Matthew worked hard to set up the job, finish off the details, and clean up after all the work was finished. He even made the effort to explain what and how he was installing our new piping. Sewer line was blocked and had a big mess in the bathroom. Thousand Oaks Plumbing came out in 30 minutes and Jesse got to work and cleared the line. He was professional, honest and told me what he suspected to be the problem and showed me the roots pulled out of the line. We had another plumbing problem with a different house we own. Remembering the great service we received last November, I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing. Since this house is 25 minutes away from their office, I was concerned that they wouldn't come out or like a number of other plumbers, IF they came, there would be a "trip charge". The staff at Thousand Oaks Plumbing were extremely accommodating. The owner called that morning and gave me a specific time the technician would arrive.
