Water heater warranties are a consumer rip off. I even had to pay for the time for TO plumbing to obtain the parts. But when you have no hot water you become desperate. At least TO plumbing was courteous and present for me...as opposed to some other warranty suppliers who could not be bothered. 01/26/18 |

Brad was excellent...worked very quickly since it was an hourly rate. A rental unit had the Bradford-white water cease to work in less than a year. Warranty service was required but ONLY paid for the PARTS. OWNER REQUIRED TO PAY FOR LABOR. (Home Depot water heaters are the same deal). How did a warranty get to be parts only? The labor is usually $200 to $250. But TO plumbing made a huge effort to get the hot water back on and thanks to them for that. The other plumbing company that provided warranty work in the area...LLOYD'S said there would be a several day wait to come out. That is a long time without hot water. Had another good experience with Thousand Oaks Plumbing. Jesse came out immediately and was pleasant, and more important knowledgeable. Prices are fair. Brad arrived on time and was able to solve our clogged toilet quickly. He explained the problem completely and offered suggestions on how to avoid the problem recurring. He said at some point the toilet will need to be replaced and offered ideas on what might help with the loose toilet. Brad was pleasant and courteous at all times. Initially Brad provided a quote to replace a small sprinkler water valve at the back of the house but ran into difficulty with the PVC piping. The job was bigger than I had originally told TO Plumbing, so Jesse called in Brian who took over the bathroom sink while Jesse did the kitchen. Then Jesse did the toilet installation. John and his partner ( young guy sorry not good with names) were absolutely fantastic. They took the time to explain their plan and went right to work. They wee done way before I expected, especially since most contract work " by the hour " is drug out to make more $$. They cleaned up and I am forever a customer, after this first time calling.

The garbage disposal side of our sink clogged Thanksgiving night. I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing the next morning, Brad came to our home later that day, and was able to quickly determine what the cause was as well as explain to me in layman’s terms why it had happened. He also gave me fair options on how it could be fixed, allowing me to make the decision without any high-pressure, fear-tactics selling for their services. Thousand Oaks Plumbing rocks! I cannot say enough about the great service I received when a leak started in the wall behind the master bathroom's shower on Thanksgiving. We turned off the water to the house & I called TO Plumbing early on Black Friday to see if someone could come out. Danny called me to say he would have a technician come out & would call me back as soon as he confirmed who would come. Not only did he call back within 20 minutes, but the service technician was at my house within 45 minutes. Chris was thorough & isolated the problem very quickly.
