As you can see, Thousand Oaks Plumbing doesn't really need any more 5 Star ratings, but I'm delighted to throw in one more.
Without getting in to all the details, we had a few small issues (clogged shower drain and the kitchen clean out pipe, both of which required snaking.)
From the first early morning phone call to the follow-up call from their office to confirm the appointment, to the actual service call, everything was accomplished in the most courteous, professional, and competent manner--and with excellent communication.
Our technician was Matthew--he was precisely on time, extremely helpful and gracious, did a perfect job, was patient in answering my dumb questions, actually wiped his feet off each time he re-entered our home, was meticulous in every regard, and without me even asking, gave us a nice break billing-wise by not charging for some time that ran over the hourly billing rate.
All I can say is that if every business was this organized, this focused on customer service, and with this level of proficiency, we'd all be a lot better off.
And just a small suggestion to all you titans of industry out there: if you think that it doesn't really matter how you treat your customers, and you don't manage your business with integrity, and you think we will just keep coming back for more...think again.
On the other hand, we WILL be using and recommending Thousand Oaks Plumbing in the future.

Your website says you charge by job, not per hour. Your plumber insisted it was per hour, not per job. Asked 30 minutes charge ($90) for the estimate call and adjusted it against be the total. He asked me to buy a new faucet for a follow up call, but didn't tell me to get a metal drain ( plastic drain was no good). I had to keep him waiting 30 minutes while I ran out to get the metallic drain.

After getting several estimates from other plumbing companies for a sewer line replacement, I ended up choosing T.O. Plumbing. Dan & his team are very professional, knowledgeable, reliable, courteous & reasonable in their pricing. The job went very smoothly & they made sure I was well informed on each step of the process. I was very impressed with Danny (the owner) who showed up himself to win a new customer. I called several plumbers to help us with a main line clog..... only Danny's company picked up their phone. They had a very full schedule but squeezed me in anyway. He used a cool little tunnel camera and found our problem right away. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. She made it a pleasant transaction as well. You guys won our business..... we just bought our home here in Thousand Oaks and look forward to having Thousand Oaks plumbing there when we need them. We had to call for a same day service due to a nail hole in a water pipe. T.O. Plumbing was the only one available (gratefully). We got a time frame of 3:00-5:00, but they called and were available at 1:00 instead. Our plumber was Joe, he was neat, clean, friendly and easy to understand. He came out and repaired our pipe quickly, was very knowledgeable in his craft and made sure there were no leaks on his repair or in the general area. He also cleaned up after himself (which is no longer the norm). I also want to give a shout out to the receptionist who took our call. I don't have her name but she was very friendly, helpful and easy to understand. I highly recommend T.O. Plumbing and they are now our new plumber. Today marked the third time I've hired Thousand Oaks Plumbing, & once again Daniel Guiney's plumbers delivered. On Sunday, April 9th, we discovered a water leak in one of the exterior garden beds outside our home. At 7:45 am I called T. Oaks Plumbing, explaining our concerns. By 9:20 am Joe F. was at our house, clearly explaining the possible causes, & began an excavation. He expertly determined the source of the leak (a leaking section of PVC irrigation piping), replaced the flawed joint section, returned at day's end to confirm that the leak had been rectified and satisfactorily recovered
the excavation.
Despite his youth, Joe evidenced authentic expertise; his apprenticeship under Danny was invaluable. Joe's charges were reasonable & fair, as were the charges for previous work this firm provided, & his personable nature was an additional asset. Danny & his team deserve the success they have earned. They remain my go to choice for all plumbing problems.

Having a water heater fail early in the morning on a work day is no fun. However, Thousand Oaks Plumbing was very responsive, sending out a plumber within an hour. We recently had a hot water slab leak and needed help in a hurry. Our entire experience with Thousand Oaks Plumbing was excellent beginning with Christine on the phone to the end when Danny and Joe completed the job. Christine first recommended a leak detector who came out the same day. She then connected us with Danny who, though he was booked up, came early Friday morning before his other scheduled appointments to give us an estimate. At that time he also capped the leak so we could still have hot water for bathing until we could get approval from our insurance company to re-route the line. Danny was thorough, efficient, and explained everything he was doing both the day of the estimate and the day he completed the re-route with Joe assisting him. A full home renovation yielded a few kinks left over from our contractor; Jesse from Thousand Oaks Plumbing has been patiently working them out with us, and his work is absolutely top quality. A serious attention to detail, a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done precisely and correctly -- not just functionally -- and a willingness to explain exactly what's going on before he does it have made some rather critical work something of a breeze. After the heavy rains I had discovered that my yard drains were not functioning properly. While out on a walk with my wife we happened on a T.O. Plumbing truck at a neighbors house doing a Hydro-jet cleaning of the yard drains. I made an appointment when I got home. The guys that arrived worked very hard for me to clear the drains. They showed up on time, were polite and very professional. In the end my job required a little more work that involved some digging. We had a Saturday emergency with a back up that affected the entire house. Unfortunately, we had a prior commitment that evening but had a house guest that would be there to let Thousand Oaks plumbing in. Within one and a half hours from our initial call they showed up and quickly took care of the problem, communicating with me each step of the way.
