Jesse is excellent. He is focused, Knowledgeable and thorough. I can't recommend him enough. He has the kind of honesty that comes from within, not from company policy. On his first visit he took care of a problem that other 3 plumbers and a Handyman service tried and failed to fix. And he did it at a fair price and Relatively fast. Always get a second opinion on a big plumbing job. I had a blockage problem and was quoted such a large amount of money that I was checking into a second mortgage. At this point a friend told me she had had a huge plumbing problem and was quoted from $17,000 to $30,000 for the job. She called Danny at Thousand Oaks Plumbing and he got the job done beautifully for $10,000. Based on her recommendation, I called Danny and he fixed my blockage saving me $6,000. He is competent, experienced (32 years), and has integrity--a rare combo in this era. He restored my faith in local home maintenance business people. He is not out to take advantage or to make a quick buck. He is actually interested in the welfare of his customers and gives a reasonable price along with quality work. I highly recommend his services without reservation. I am relieved to know that now I have someone I can trust to do an excellent job at a fair cost for any future plumbing problems. I really like using them. Over the last few years we have called on them numerous times - they are courteous, on time and get the job done. Jesse is very knowledgeable and was able to help us out. Danny (the owner) and his team at Thousand Oaks Plumbing are the best!!!! this morning we awoke to a sewer line backup in both bathrooms. We have company for the holidays and, as luck would have it, that's when things like this happen. At 7:30 am I called TO Plumbing and Danny answered and said that someone would be out to fix the problem between 8 - 1- and today. My wife packed up the company and took them to breakfast and a planned trip to the Getty Villa in Malibu. At 8:30 am Danny showed up and within an hour he had diagnosed the problem, snaked and removed the roots from the sewer line from the house to the street. work might be acceptable under the circumstances but was not what I would call exemplary due to compromises made in depth of gas line burying. they went over another pipe that was an obstacle rather than under it, and I am unsure whether or not that was a necessity. 11/10/16 |

Thousand oaks plumbing is fantastic. Quick and Good at what they do. I've tried several of the local discounters with their coupons and promises of low cost fix rate pricing. Only to have them up charge me and often not get the job done anyway. I'm done with those marketing games. Thousand Oaks plumbing does great work for a fair price. And they actually do the work! One last note. These guys are always booked. If you have an emergency situation they will give you priority, if not, wait for them. Good quality work at a fair price is always worth and extra day. I called 5 plumbers - two never called me back and two of them, the prices were way over the top - one even told me it was because of the price of doing business in California.
I finally called Thousand Oaks Plumbing - spoke with a very sweet girl, she gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone and I made the appointment.
Mathew showed up on time - a wonderful, courteous young man - a consummate professional. He did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price.

Our water heater went out on a Friday night and the pilot light would not light. On Saturday, Jeff came out, from Thousand Oaks Plumbing and I had high hopes for a good experience. The diagnosis was, as expected, a new control panel and pilot ignition assembly was needed. He was unable to locate the parts needed on Saturday afternoon, but he got a price over the phone. He thought he could do better, from his own supplier on Monday morning and I would be called after. I felt confident that I was in good hands and would get a fair deal. On Monday I heard nothing and called around 12:30 and was told they would get there between 2-4. At 4:15 I called again, from work, and was told they were on their way. My adult son was there when they arrived and I spoke with a different plumber and was told it would be $495!! That was over $150 more than the same repair on our other water heated just 4 months ago. With my family taking cold showers for three nights already and it being end of day I agreed. After the 20 minute job, my son paid, without receiving a physical receipt. An email receipt was received with a single line just showing $495.I have contacted them twice to receive the expected parts and labor totals, but they have ignored my request. We feel the price was excessive, for such a basic job, and it feels like the refusal to provide parts cost, adds to that suspicion. It's a shame, I was hoping to find that go-to service to call when those plumbing needs arise. Sadly Thousand Oaks Plumbing will not be that call. If you use them I recommend that you make the appointment for early in the day, so if the price seems excessive, you can check around and not have to pay an end of day premium. I had a leaking gas valve, which was obviously en emergency (the gas to my house had to be shut off). Since it was a weekend, all the plumbers were extremely busy. Thousand Oaks Plumbing were the only guys who were able to squeeze me in on the same day and fix the problem. Daniel was quick and professional. It's great to have service like this. Thank you! I have used T O Plumbing since I bought my house 18 years ago in Thousand Oaks. Danny's company came highly referred by a friend and neighbor who had been using him for years. I recently purchased a new refrigerator with an ice maker. I did not have a line behind the refrigerator for the installation. I called T O Plumbing who quoted a price that at first I felt was too steep, so I called another company. The quote I received from this other company was in the thousands..almost $3,000.00! So sheepishly I called T O Plumbing back and agreed on their original price ($350.00) which they honored. Jessie arrived, put in the line (having to go under the sink and install it), and I am now ready with fresh ice for my friend who is coming to visit from Florida. Wow! What great service and customer service. I can't stress enough how important it is to have an experienced professional come to your home to service something as important as plumbing. We called TO plumbing due to a leaky bathtub faucet. Jesse from TO plumbing was on time for the appointment and very professional. He quickly assessed the needed repairs and recommend a very reasonable fix. Jesse had the replacement parts in his truck (how great is that?) and did the repair immediately. We told Jesse we wanted to make sure there was no damage (scratches) being made to the tub during the repair. He was way ahead of us and had already taken precautions. Jesse even took a quick look at our water heater just to make sure it was up to code. We also had a slow to hot water issue in our other shower and he also fixed that! You gotta love these guys. Thank you Jesse and TO plumbing. We will always call you for any plumbing related. You should do the same! Also: When we moved into our house last year we called Dan at TO plumbing due to a sewage issue. Dan came right out and repaired our plumbing/sewage problem. Wanted to comment on an excellent experience we had. Discovered a leak in our water main line. Called at 3 pm and was scheduled for the next day between 2 and 4 pm. Jesse arrived at 1:45 ready to diagnose and make repair. He was very knowledgeable in diagnosing the leak and presenting a solution to fix. He worked very efficiently and did a quality job. After a careful review of local plumbers on yelp and Angie's list I decided to call Thousand Oaks Plumbing to ask them to help stop a water leak in my garage. Jesse came the next day on time and quickly determined that it was a hot water pipe leaking through the slab. He was very knowledgable and showed great professionalism - first class. To find out exactly where the leak was he quickly recommended and with my agreement called Pinpoint Leak Detection to set up an appointment. Jason from Pinpoint Leak Detection came the next day and established quickly and efficiently where the leak was. Another 5 star experience. After his visit, Dan the owner of Thousand Oaks Plumbing came the same day to determine what repairs needed to be done. We agreed on a pipe by-pass and already the next day he and one of his crew came and did the repairs. I was gone for the day. I came back to a dry and a clean garage. No more leaks. Tom has come out to my house twice for two different issues. He is the best! Explained everything clearly, gave me my options, reasonably priced. The second time (today) that I called we had a leaking toilet. I called at 8:30 this morning (spoke to Kate) and despite having a really heavy schedule (one of their plumbers was on vacation) Kate called me back at 9:30am and told me someone would be able to come between noon and 3pm. I first met Danny from TO Plumbing when I had a slab leak the day before Thanksgiving and the insurance company sent him out. He was the only plumber that came out and took the time to give me an immediate work around, so that I could host Thanksgiving dinner. He then came back after Thanksgiving to fix the problem and came up with a great solution, that allowed me not to cut open the slab and save me money. I now have TO Plumbing on speed dial and have had Danny out to my house multiple times for plumbing issues. I have always found Danny to be very knowledgeable, professional and fair. We got Danny's name at Thousand Oaks Plumbing from entrusted family who owns buildings which TO Plumbing has serviced for many years. Life was blissful in our new home until the 6 weeks mark, when poop started coming up through the downstairs shower floor. Boy, they were there FAST and did the job thoroughly. No complaints (I sure would have!). We've been using them now for 6 years for every single job, and I appreciate how each time we are told what our options are, what the pricing, pros and cons are for each, and their take on it. They've steered us in the right direction every time and been mindful on our behalf relating to costs. Everyone we've referred them to has also been really happy. We've used Thousand Oaks Plumbing for 2 large jobs and we are so grateful to have found a talented and trustworthy plumber like Danny! He replaced a piece of pipe in one of our bathrooms and a few months later we called him to fix a leak inside our kitchen island. In both cases, he offered thoughtful advice to help us plan ahead to eliminate expensive repairs in the future (re-routing our kitchen plumbing). I totally agree with all the other positive reviews here!!! Danny was referred to us by a contractor we know who does not do complicated plumbing problems (our downstairs flooded from the main drain). The contractor told us to make sure we installed a "popper relief valve" outside so it never happens again. Danny was able to make it a couple hours after being called. He was very nice and took care of everything right away. He snaked the lines and showed us what was going on under our house with a camera. He also "located" the sewer line outside our house and said we needed a relief valve, sticking a flag in the ground where it needed to go (all without me even telling him the contractor said the same thing). He had no desire to nickel and dime us. He just handled it, fixed everything up, and even did some extras needed. He was fast, friendly, courteous, efficient, and very reasonably priced.
