My experience in working with Pann Home Services has always been great and I am happily satisfied with the customer satisfaction they've provided me with. All the workmen have always been courteous, thorough in regards to answering any and all questions I had, cleanly and efficient. We recently had our cellar, windows and exterior of the house worked on and everything was handled with the utmost level of professionalism to make sure they gave us the best possible value for the price. From time to time they have also done some small jobs that I didn't hire them for or ask them to do but they did it anyways to make sure I was satisfied. I will continue to use Pann Home Services going forward and I highly recommend them to anybody else in the area looking for a quality, local home services company. In 35 years as homeowners we have experienced contractors as efficient, thorough, speedy and friendly. Pann installed a new furnace/AC for our hot air system, which included some carpentering and duct work to put in an additional cold air return in 120 year old house. They came when they said they would, managed all the plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work smoothly. Ronny H and Mike D solved three critical plumbing problems for me within one one-hour visit., restoring hot water and good flow to a kitchen and a bathroom sink and rebuilding the flushing mechanism in an existing toilet tank so that now it flushes again without my having to replace it with one of those new low-flow tanks. Hurray! I love my big old tank. I admire Pann's problem-solving efficiency, which has consistently been my experience with the company. The prices are on the high side but I'd rather have a Pann-backed technician in my house than some random person from the yellow pages; I am pretty conservative about who I let into my home. Pann almost always solves my problems in one trip on the same day I put in the call. They carry a truckful of parts; there's no waiting for them to go to the warehouse to fetch stuff. Selling my condo, Fireplace would not light, Thought it might be a switch. Turned out to be generator. The Pann service man Ron explained the problem , showed evidence that generator was failing. Although the repair of my kitchen sink is still in progress, so far I have a very strong feeling that Tim, the technician Pann Home Services sent to do the job, is taking good care of me. There was a decision to be made: new faucet stems or a complete new faucet. Tim gave me thorough info so I could make the correct decision. I live in an old building and getting the proper replacement parts for fixtures is difficult. Tim was very conscientious in taking measurements and photos of the parts, and brought these to the one supply house that carries the proper replacements. A new replacement faucet is now on order, and in the meantime, Tim was able to get my kitchen sink temporarily up and running so I won't be adversely affected by the waiting period. PaulB. was the GC for the remodel of my new townhouse He did a great job coordinating plumbers electricians HVAC and carpenters and brought the job in on time. Paul has great attention to detail and he kept me in the loop every step of the way...we talked every day and again every evening. He was always pleasant and very cooperative, even when I changed my mind about something and he was determined to make and keep me happy. Excellent and reliable! I've been with Pann Home Services for about seven years. The first time I used them, I called them when one of my pipes broke. I found them online, and I called them right away. They came that same night. After that, I used them for everything. Most recently I used them when my condenser for my heating was too old and I needed a new system. They installed a new one, and they fixed my emergency heating. I trust them, and they're very friendly. They gave me their cell phone number, so I can call them directly. The person that comes, who I always request, is able to answer any questions I have if I'm having a problem. They are very approachable and reliable, so you can trust their service! Quick, as promised. Pann Home Services put in a couple of water heaters. They also replaced the head in my step-in shower. Both of these projects were done very expediently. Expensive, but good. When I need Pann Home Services, they take a little while to come, but they always do. They're expensive, but you get what you pay for. I don't have any really bad experiences, but I don't care for the way they break their work down. If you're having work done on heating, then they need to go find an electrician outside the company to come in. It's a little annoying. We appreciate everything Pann Home Services has done for us! They are perfectionists. The job Pann Home Services does is just perfect. The only complaint I've got is the cost, which is to be expected. It's been several years that we've been working with them now. They fixed the furnace; they put a new hot water tank, dishwasher, and disposal in; they put a hole in the chimney in the basement so we have a way to clean it out; and they just got through fixing some plumbing in the bathroom. Tremendous I called Pann Home Services in the middle of the night with no heat and they were here in half an hour and fixed everything. I have them here for a yearly cleanup and their service is neat and courteous. They're a dream! Most people I know wouldn't hire Pann because they think it's expensive but then they hire some cheaper service who does a half a** job and then they have to pay someone else--they end up paying double anyway! Amazing I called them up saying "I had no hot water," and they had someone here the next day. Our water tank in our basement one day turned into a waterfall. We called them up. Based on what they said to us we went with a tank-less water heater. They installed it the next day. They only came upstairs to ask questions when they had to. The workers were friendly, very nice, and efficient. No problems or anything. After the weekend, they came back to check to make sure that everything was working. Then, Michael Pann called me personally to make sure that everything was doing well after it was installed. They were very conscious of their customers. They go above and beyond. They were really assessing our situation and needs rather than just trying to get more money out of us. The quality was very good. I have already recommend them. They've just been amazing. I can't speak highly enough of them! I've had a 20+ year relationship with Pann Home Service and my experience has always been really good. They train technicians so that you get somebody who knows the stuff and is prepared to troubleshoot. The worker comes prepared, has the skills, and has the training. I had about half of my home remodeled and they installed a radiant floor heating system. They actually convinced me to do that. At first I wasn't sold, but it's been wonderful. I replaced my furnace and it's been excellent. I now have something that heats the water as needed instead of a tank water heater. It is efficient and doesn't need replacing. Pann Home Services has people on call that can do anything you need. When you have a problem, it sometimes isn't an isolated problem so you may need technical skills and experience to come together from a variety of areas. It might be more than just plumbing, there may also be carpentry. They don't just come in with an idea, they cater to you. This house was built around WWI and the pipes laid down at that time must have opened up. The sewage pipe was leaking. I think of it as a huge U pipe so we started to get back up. They had to dig up the basement cement and replace the whole pipe. I don't know if an ordinary plumber could do that. The way they ascertained what was needed was impressive. It's been perfect every since. I used to call the town and have them clear away the roots and I haven't had to call them since. Whatever the town's connection is hasn't been a problem since the work was done. It may have cured the problem. It took a headache away. This is the kind of thing that they can do. They provide effective, thorough service for medium-scale home repairs. We had a leak in our basement and Pann Home Services tore up the floors to figure out what was wrong. One of the reasons for why we chose to go with this company is that they provide integrated services for repairs and hiring a separate contractor is not necessary. The service person was nice, polite, and knew what he was doing. I looked all over for someone to fix my fireplace but no one wanted to fix it because they had not done the installation. I searched online and found Pann Home Services. I gave them a call to see if they could help and they had a young man come out for them. They completed the job. I had a heater that wasn't working, and they have repaired it. They put a new electric switch in. The switch no longer is the same color, the outer part of the heater is brown and the switch is white. I didn't like that. Radiator installation. I contacted Pann Home Services and they were able to come out and give me an estimate about a week after I called. The estimate was higher than I expected, but due to the weather, I had to go with them. They came out a few weeks later to actually do the work. They were very professional. Generally available, on time and courteous. Pann Home Services is generally very good about being available. That is probably their strongest point. They have shown up for me, when sometimes other contractors have left me hanging. The one complaint I will say I have is that, generally, they are more expensive than the others. It was a very good experience! My water heater went on the blank and I called Pann Home Services to fix it. They tried to fix it but they were unable to. It was an old water heater and I just decided to get a new one, and they helped me select one. They were wonderful, informative, patient, and explained my options. I had the heater installed in January and it has been working wonderfully since then. It was a very good experience. From the time I first called Pann Home Services, the secretary was lovely. It wasn't their fault, just a casualty of technology these days, but I needed work done on a Friday, and I had seen an ad of theirs that said to call in for a quick response. I called and there was no answer, then emailed with no response. I found out when they called back that their website and phones had been completely down, and they were very apologetic about it. The guy who came by to do the work was very good, just the initial website issue held things up. That was the only problem. The guy came by to do some kitchen plumbing work. I had a problem that was pretty simple, and the gentleman had it fixed in no time. From minor jobs to major ones! We've been using Pann Home Services for many years, for two different residences. They've done everything from minor things, to continual maintenance for our furnace, electrical work and plumbing, to doing major rebuilding efforts for us. They've done quite a lot of work for us over the years. They've put in a laundry room, a front walkway and a back porch. We first used them when we lived in Brooklin, to rebuild a bathroom, it only took them a month to completely rebuild it for us. They are professional, friendly and do good work. Really good if you're in a jam, but really expensive too. My experience with Pann Home Services has been good. I'm always pleased with Michael, though I think he is very, very, very pricey compared to anybody else. He does get the job done, so if you're in a jam he's the one to call. My only objection is that you get charged if they have to get a part. For instance, if they have to go back to the office to get the part it costs you. I think the diagnosis, which you get charged for, and the installation should be enough, which can run hundreds of dollars, so my only real complaint is about the extra charges. Pann Home Services does a good job. They are courteous, kind, and they don't mess up your house, but I think the charges are pretty high. They have pretty good availability, and if they can't do it right then they usually get to it pretty fast, particularly because I've been a customer for 50 years. I'd recommend them, with the caveat that though they are very good they are also very, very expensive. They are very good, so if I'm in a jam that is who I would use, but I don't know why it costs as much as it does. House R. 09/29/11 |
