Mr. Rooter helped us remove a 1987 water tank and installed a new one. The technicians who helped with this removal and installation were outstanding. Jason came out and analyzed the problem and determined that we needed a new water heater. He came out the next day with the replacement tank and installed it. Great effort was put into removing the old tank so he called upon two co-workers to help him remove the very heavy old tank. Through every step of the process, Jason explained what to expect. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and knew when to call for help to remove the old tank. Great effort and teamwork was put into this appointment! On July 3rd, My Garbage disposal had quit working. At 8am I called Mr. Rooter. At 9am Mr. Ray Imes-Cor the technician arrived. after looking at the problem he gave me a price for the work. It was high, but I didn't want to be without the use of my sink, on the Holiday . A few months previous my garage door motor broke, It took me a full day to get three estimates an two additional days to get it fixed. Ray was a very efficient worker, he had the work completed and was gone in under 1/2 hour, and left no mess. The price he gave me was $ 430. The 1/2 hp Badger, has list price of $ 109. I called Mr. Rooter on a Friday morning. Within 45 minutes I had a team at my home to assess a problem with basement lift station. Without it working, I could not use any water or toilets in my house (and it was 4th of July weekend with out of state guests staying with me). They quickly found the problem and removed old pump and replaced it with a new one within hours! The pricing for service and supplies was very reasonable. Mitch was an excellent worker and Dan his supervisor was too. They both were very professional and worked efficiently and with upmost care to keep my house clean (even wearing COVID-19 masks). Our service man, Mitch, was great in reviewing the job at hand with an older home for a remodeled kitchen. He seemed to really enjoy working with new facets, disposal and dishwasher. He immediately went to work sorting through the set up. Guys were very responsive and were proactive in reaching out to me when they had a cancellation so they could see me earlier. Very professional in their work. Explained what was occurring every step of the way (main sewer line backed up). They were able to clear it, but went an extra step by running a camera down to show me it was cleared and some roots that were coming thru... also located a major issue that will need to be fixed but not necessarily urgently so I can prepare for the cost, and they certainly didn’t push me to fix it immediately.
Because of their professionalism I will 100% be calling them everytime in the future. Corey and Josh were great.
Plumbing issues suck to start with. So to have guys that fix the issue, don’t pressure you for stuff you don’t need but take the time to educate you on issues, as well as visually show you the issues is worth its weight in gold. Highly recommend! COREY J. 06/26/20 |

Mr. Rooter was great! My hot water heater sprang a leak and was gushing water in my basement! Definitely an emergency for me! I remembered the woman's commercials on TV and for that reason I called you first!! I live alone and didn't even know how to turn the water off! (He showed me how - many thanks)
The service was excellent! He Thorry (I think) was friendly and competent! He told me it needed to be replaced! and according the tag was long over due! He went to Home Depot, picked up a new one for me. Back in half hr! He Installed the new one and took the old one away! Wonderful company and service! I have several other plumbing issues and will definitely call them for those! I would recommend them to anyone! Don't see where to put the stars, but I say 5 and a half!! I used Mr Rooter in November to jet a pipe as we were having sewer smells in the house. If it occurred within a year, we could have it done again. They came back last week, incredibly professional and found that we need to change the degree of the pipe that connects to the sewer. This should stop items from being stuck in our sewer line. Mr. rooter technician came on time removed my 50 year old concrete laundry tub and installed a new plastic tub in about 2 hours. He cleaned up after the installation and asked if I was satisfied. Aris, a supervisor, and Justin, a technician, came to finish a big plumbing job started the day before by another tech. Both were knowledgeable, competent, professional, courteous and friendly. Aris checked and confirmed what Justin had said needed to be done, and left Justin to his work. Justin did a great, thorough job and cleaned everything up when he was finished. I’ve heard people are paid to write good reviews on line, this is not the case. After experiencing 4” of water in our entire basement on February 6th after living in our house for 42 years and never having any water at all, you can imagine our shock. We called a local plumber, he was able to clear the blockage, drain the basement. Service Master cleaned, dried and discarded all our water damaged items. So here we are nearly 4 months to the day, June 5th, and discover another 2” of water throughout the entire basement. I now know that the problem was never really addressed. I contacted Mr. Rooter and could tell from talking to the technician that he was going to actually look for the problem and solve it before he left. They unclogged the pipe with a water blaster of some sort, ran what they called a root rat all the way to the city’s line, discovered a damaged ceramic tile that was the culprit that needed to be removed and replaced. They also discovered a floor drain that was improperly installed without a trap. Mr. Rooter spelled out the problem, the fix, and gave me the estimate. They gave me a date and time, showed up on time and kept me apprised of every step they were taking in the repair, not using the water, shutting off the water and the all done notice. The 8’ deep by 12’ trench was refilled and tamped, dirt raked out of my lawn, slightly mounded, seeded and put down peat to assist in the grass seed starting. Everything was complete in about 6 hours and except for the mound of new soil, I could barely even tell that just a couple of hours ago there was an 8’ deep trench and a 6’ pile of dirt on my front lawn. They were very courteous and professional and left nothing undone. These guys are a complete package from start to finish, and when I say finished, I mean there was nothing left for me to pick up or clean up, done and done. If you need anything done in the plumbing category, these people have the expertise, equipment and professionalism to tackle and solve even the most involved problems.
