During Covid-19 they responded very quickly and a couple hours technician came. He spent almost 2 hours trying to reach City to shut off main water supply to house. City of Columbus did not pick up a phone. Technician came back with metal detector and turned off water. He was able to fix leakage after very fast , not charging for multiple hours spent and keeping same price as was at the beginning when I signed invoice . Great company to deal!!!!! WILL G. 04/05/20 |

Mr. Rooter was prompt, arriving within hours to take a look at the problem. Another Rooter Guy came out within hours and gave an estimate of the problem and cost. They arrived on the scheduled date to begin work.
They worked diligently, cleaned up afterwards, took photos of the whole work and kept an open communication with me. The work came with a life time guarantee.
I highly recommend Mr.Rooter.

I am very happy with the service I received. David is very professional and answered a lot of my questions.
My only hesitation is with the cost of the repairs. I know everything is becoming more and more costly, but my Social Security budget is crying right now.

We had a broken pipe about 2ft off the ground on our sump pump after all of the recent flooding. Trying to help local businesses I decided to see what it would cost to fix the pipe. I figured if it was reasonable enough I could spend time on my own business which I own getting refunds out to families who might need them. For a 10 minute job at best the initial quote was over $280. My tech was incredibly polite and tried to call in to lower the price when I rejected the bid and was able to lower it about $56 but that's all they would do. $220-$230 for the job. I figured my customers could wait 30 minutes so I ran to the store, spent about $10 on piping and piping cement, came home and 10 minutes later had all my tools put away. This would be a 1 start rating if not for the professionalism of the tech. I personally considered the bid to be price gouging during this COVID-19/local flooding time period. Matt did a wonderful job and explained the situation thoroughly regarding my sump pump connection. The most impressive part of this was that he was next door working on my neighbors down spout drains and inquired about my situation since many basements were flooded after heavy rains. Mitch and Jimmy explained everything. Did what they could. Contacted other entities within their company to provide the next steps that I need. Mitch opened up my service drain, Jimmy brought in a camera to check out the line and was very informative, explaining preventive measures keeping my basement from flooding again. I noticed this morning my toilet was leaking at the base. I called Mr. Rooter at 7:15 and the wonderful technician, Cory, arrived promptly at 8:00. He was incredibly polite and friendly, explained everything, worked diligently and completed my job in less than an hour. He had to come in and out of my house a couple of times and each time he put shoe covers on before entering my home. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and Cory. No hot water this morning. Tried restarting ourseleves with no luck. Called Mr. Rooter and a technician was out within 90 minutes. However, no such luck getting the tank lit. I had a tech come out to finish install of a water heater. We recently had some plumbing done by a different company and this tech offered to run a camera down the line (free of charge) to check their work. A coworker showed up and told me we had significant damage to our line and there was a huge rootball and that they could fix it for $5500. I told them I’d rather have the original plumbers come back because I had just paid them. These gentlemen continued to fear monger me until I asked them to leave. The original plumber just left my house and I watched the camera go completely through my sewer line to the street and there is not one thing wrong with it. Absolutely criminal sales tactics.
