The service was great, but the cost was prohibitive. A toilet installation, in my opinion, should not cost $1,000. I needed it resolved and didn't have a lot of time to shop around, so I went ahead with the work; however, I was disappointed in the cost. 10/09/14 |

Mike M. did an excellent job of installing my toilet. He recommended a top-of-the-line toilet that was ADA approved, but also offered other options, including rebuilding the toilet's interior. I opted to replace the toilet, which I felt was the solution that met my needs best. Mike was courteous and professional, and after completing the job, he cleaned up -- always a plus! If I have plumbing problems in the future (which I hope I don't, but you know how life is!), I would definitely use Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing Heating & Air and Mike M. again!!! I had a very positive experience with Minneapolis Heating and Plumbing. Joshua B installed our new equipment. He was very polite and professional. Thomas E. was fantastic to work with. He diagnosed several issues with our very old and cranky furnace. Over the years it had been giving us lots of trouble. In the end he spent a lot of time ensuring the problems were really a problem, and providing an honest assessment of the options between repair and replacement. In the end we opted to bite the bullet and replace it. He guided us through a variety of options and displayed great patience as we discussed the choices we had. When we confirmed our choice he quickly set about getting the old equipment removed, scheduling our new installation, and supplying us with heaters to keep us warm until then. In all steps along the way he was very informative, personable, and conscientious. I was very pleased with the service we received. As much as we were disappointed at having to replace our furnace and the expense it incurred, Thomas made the process easy and gave us confidence we were making informed decisions and working with someone who stands behind his work. I was completely lied to about the status of my heating system. I was told I needed a system flush, new burners installed, as well as a new ignition safety switch. I got a second opinion from another heating company who I only told the services I needed a quote for. After their inspection, they were curious why I felt I needed the three services performed as the system was operating well and efficiently. Minneapolis St Paul Heating and Air comes in with the hard sell trying to get you to spend thousands of dollars on a service contract. If you have money to waste give them a call. I, on the other hand, will be telling people about my experience every chance I get. One positive note: they did refund my money for the two service calls I had them do (one rental property and my personal residence). There customer service rep told me that Brian Anderson was just one bad apple within the company. In my opinion, Brian was doing his job as trained by the company. 10/06/14 |

Brian from Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing Heating and Air came to the house to do a check of my HVAC system. The check took over an hour and was very thorough--included cleaning the outdoor AC unit--it looks new. Patiently reviewed everything he found and presented a range of options to address the issues that were found--including a furnace gas leak. He began work immediately (after I signed up for help with financing). He was efficient, clean and committed to making his work excellent. He was back the next day with an installer to finish cleaning the vents and duct work and installing new, safe venting. I am confident and relived that I can run my furnace this winter safely, cleanly and much more efficiently. I know the quality of the air will be much, much better than previous years. 10/01/14 |

We recently had a furnace replaced by Mpls/St. Paul Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Our HVAC Technician was Jeff and he showed up promptly at 7:00am to begin the task of removing the old and installing the new. He performed excellent work as he converted our home from a stage I furnace to a stage II. He was a delightful young man and very knowledgeable about his trade--hard worker too. He exercised much patience with our questions. The new furnace looks great and we are secure in the fact that our home will be comfortable for us and at a lesser monthly expense! As part of the plan with MSP we had a visit from Bruce Anderson. His service was outstanding, very professional and above all his summary that all was in good working order was very reassuring. His plumbing inspection was very thorough from all the inside and outside faucets, sinks and water closets to the cold water entry in the crawl space to the check of the hot water heater. In March of 2014 I had the cartridge replaced in my Delta tub faucet. In Sept, that faucet started leaking again. Todd M. came out and was very engaging. He looked at the faucet and asked a few questions, which showed he was after the right solution. He then informed me that he will replace the cartridge for free! He explained the process and asked a few more questions. He finished up, demoed the faucet, and left the area clean. Todd M. is a professional. He is the type of Tech you hope comes to your door.
