When our furnace broke, M&D promptly came to give us an estimate. They use Carrier products and I found the salesman easy to follow and he broke down the estimate for me, which many companies don't do. The technicians were outstanding! They were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The technicians John W, Joe M and Frank B were excellent John is very personable and made the experience a breeze. Patrick came today to check our AC system. He was very efficient and checked the system completely. Even went so far as to replace the batteries in our thermostat. The technicians that installed my furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater on February 24, 2017 were Phil C, Rob Marsh, John W and Frank B. They were all prompt, courteous, and professional. They completed this job in one day, staying until about 7:00 p.m. and answering all of my questions and instructing me on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. They were very neat and took great pains to maintain cleanliness at my home- both the inside and outside. These 4 gentlemen are true assets as well as excellent representatives of Meyer and Depew. Management should consider themselves fortunate to have such a team of professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service techs. I know that whenever any of my associates have any HVAC concerns, I will certainly recommend Meyer and Depew. Lastly, comfort specialist Andre Bernard, presented the product to me in an equally professional and knowledgeable manner. Frank & John labored long hours in the cold to replace my daughters furnace. Got it working but it was having problems. They stayed until they were sure she would have heat and promised to return with a supervisor the next day. They showed up as promised and got it working properly. Meyer and Depew replaced our furnace. Phil, John and Ian were terrific. This was a very detailed job and they were very thorough. They not only completed the installation, they left the place totally clean and took the time to explain the workings of the furnace to me. Have been using M&D for 30 years. Problem with furnace on Saturday evening. My call answered and tech on site that evening. Got my heat up and running for the weekend and returned first thing monday morning to replace parts and complete repairs. Significant job performed professionally and promptly. I would not consider using any other company based on my long term experience. They service and installed two central air units and a generator for me as well in the past. Top notch, good value. Furnace broke and had to have it replaced during the Winter. Good thing Meyer & Depew was there to help. From troubleshooting / diagnosing the issue with Joe, determining our options with Andre, making sure the house was warm enough by lending us space heating units to get us through the night and getting the actual furnace and air conditioning system replaced (c/o John, Frank B and another Frank B ), I can say that I am very happy we went with Meyer & Depew. They spend time to train you with the new equipment. They give you different options to work with and give no-nonsense advice on what they would do if the situation happens to them. They always make sure they enter your house with shoe covers on to keep the house clean and make sure your floors are covered so they don't scratch them while they work. Their pricing is very reasonable and they offer financing options if you need it. Customer support is awesome and 24/7. Furnace breaks down at 3am, no problem. Call and a real person answers and helps out. Overall, I would do business with them again and would definitely recommend them to relatives and friends who would need such services. Meyer and Depew are a great heating and A/C contractor. I found them on Yelp. They were also the only contractor that returned a call and email. My 20 year old forced hot air furnace had stopped working in November. M&D came out the same day I called and gave me the bad news that I needed a new forced hot air furnace. The old one had a cracked heat exchanger. M&D set up an appointment to inform me of what my new heating and a/c choices would be. I went with a new 91% efficiency furnace. Every employee from M&D was great to deal with. They were very neat, clean and respectful while working at my house. All of the technicians are certified and take pride in what they do. Their customer service representative took the time to explain my options and was kind enough to lend me a few window units to help me survive in the August heat until my install date a few days later. I've had a great experience with Meyer & Depew for several years. They're an incredibly professional, customer-friendly company. Everyone seems responsive, from the moment they answer the phone. I want to give a particular "shout out" to Michael Downey, technician, for being extraordinary. He's made at least two stops to my house in last year or so, around heating concerns, and he's just the classiest, warmest, most communicative guy you'll ever deal with. He's a stand-out. I needed a new central AC unit, as my 22-year old unit just gave up the ghost after 22 good years. It seems that units taking R22 refrigerant are no longer available, so I needed a new unit that took R410 refrigerant. I contacted my local plumber, who gave me a very outrageous quote for a new unit. I contacted my local oil company (Mitchell Supreme) twice, and they never got back to me with a quote. I contacted three vendors from Home Advisor, and was not satisfied with any of them (although 2 of them gave lower quotes than Meyer and Depew). Just by chance, I saw a Meyer and Depew truck across the street from my house, and called the number on the truck. The salesman/technician (Andre) came over and gave me a very detailed estimate. He even did measurements throughout the house and determined that my old unit was a bit too large for what I actually needed. He also was the only contractor to say that he needed to get a permit from the town.
As mentioned, the estimate from M&D was more expensive than some of the other estimates, but I was willing to pay up in order to get a local company that I trusted.
A team of 4 installers showed up at 8:00 AM, and immediately went to work. They were professional and courteous. Kudos to Frank B, Mike R, Anderson C, and Phil C. They finished the entire job by 3:00 PM, cleaned up, showed me how the unit worked, and left everything in good order. Phil C. 11/01/16 |

Once again, Meyer & Depew delivered superior service. They previously replaced an aging HVAC system at our primary residence about a year ago. When it was clear that the antiquated HVAC system at our small house at the shore would not survive the winter, we brought M&D back to replace that system too. Working with Andre to review options, design & price the new system, and schedule the installation was a pleasure. The technicians who performed the work (Frank B and his partner) were true professionals and a credit to M&D team. They were always courteous and kept us informed about the work they were doing. They covered our carpeting with canvas to protect it while they worked in the house. Upon completion, they thoroughly tested the new system, took the time to explain how it operated, and patiently answered all of my questions.
