Sam went above and beyond for me on two different occasions. Once when my ac system went down during the hottest week of the year and again when he came back to maintenance the unit after he had gotten it back up and running. Sam saved me a lot of time aggravation and money when he caught a problem when my air handler in the attic. The unit wasn’t draining properly and was about to overflow. John W and Mike M had to be very creative and work around quite a few obstacles installing a replacement A/C unit. The previous installation had some challenges as well as confined space to work in. The new installation is very professional. The work was areas were kept clean and left in great shape. Meyer & Depew was contacted to install a new Carrier system. Frank, John, and Bill did an outstanding job replacing the central air conditioning and furnace. They arrived on time, took great care to make sure that flooring and furniture were protected, and cleaned up thoroughly when the work was completed. I'm very impressed by this company. Troy provided excellent and timely service to identify and repair an issue affecting my air conditioning on a very hot day. It was clear that he was very knowledgeable, as he seemed to know what the problem was right away. Still, he made sure to inspect all other potential causes to ensure that there were no other issues. Tom recently installed a new Ecobee 4 thermostat. Since we have no c-wire, the installation for our multi-stage heating and cooling system is more complex then usual. Tom worked on it and got the cooling working before he ran out of time. He and his supervisor came back a couple of days later and finished the installation and complete testing of the system. Everything works perfectly.
I have worked with Tom before and he is a careful and experience technician backed by the excellent resources of Meyer and Depew. I have been using them happily for many years and, when things get difficult they have always been there for me. I wholeheartedly endorse them as an excellent company to do business with. I have had some bad experiences with home repair service providers in this area, so I could not have been more thrilled with Meyer & Depew and particularly technician Troy. I really felt he took the time to find the best solution for my problem instead of just recommending the most expensive option. He was incredibly knowledgeable about my AC system (although it was installed long ago before I owned the house by another company), and I really feel he treated me as he would have treated his own family member. Trust me, that is not easy to find - most companies seem to be out to make the most possible $$$ as opposed to finding good options for their customers. First our comfort specialist was incredibly professional, measured all of the rooms which none of the other companies did, to guarantee that we would get the right sized unit. Also, they lent us window units during a heat wave. Then Rob and Mike M. came out on a Saturday to get everything started. They laid down cool floor covering that stuck to the floors so that they didn't track anything in the house. They were super professional and efficient friendly to us, our kids and our dogs. I had a great experience using Meyer & Depew the technicians that came to my house were great and very helpful. They repaired my air conditioner quickly.
