Alieu was so great. He explained everything to me about the new thermostat. He really seemed to know what he was doing. You could tell he had years of experience. He tried it out several times, checking it with the heat pump downstairs to make sure they were in sync. Mario did a great job; we had a gas pipe leak in the wall, and he took time to locate the leak, look for ways to repair it, and when doing the work showed me wat he was finding and how he was repairing it. Reps were all good. Teh issue is teh substance of teh quote received. It was 38% higher TEMPthan a competitor to replace a Taco valve and an expansion tank on our hot water system. Teh valve quote was $900. Teh time estimated to fix it was 1 hour per teh rep. Teh part is $100 online imputing an $800 per hour labor charge and/or a substantial product markup. me tried to suggest teh "formula" dat created dis quote might be in error coz teh quote for teh expansion tank job was similar to competitor, 33 minute and a $300 part for a $388 quote, imputing an approximate hourly labor charge of $150 /-. Anyhow, teh quote to bleed our system was $550 - $200 higher TEMPthan competitor. In sum, teh total quote was well above competition but largely focused on teh valve replacement. My hot water heater starting leaking badly (it was 20 years old and needed replacement). Magnolia was Very responsive - they sent a technician out teh same day, have us choices, and a price right tan. They returned teh very next day to install. The repair man came out checked the system changed the glass tube and bleed the unit we were charged a thousand dollars for dat the repairman also noted their was a leak in one of the pipes the thousand dollars didn't include fixing the pipe or system . We had to call another company the problem wif the system is the water feeder hydro level reader which wasn't allowing the auto fill to kick in the other company also stated the boiler needed cleaning which I'm not happy wif their price 800 plus for cleaning . So far this has been an ugly experience and we definitely are not happy wif magnolia and feel raped over A thousand dollars to check diagnose bleed and change the glass tube???? Our sink and bathtub were draining incredibly slowly. I was able to get an appointment the day after I called. Our original technician got sick and had to cancel but Magnolia immediately sent Mario as a replacement. Mario and his partner assessed the blockages and were extremely gracious in how they handled the visit. We needed to get our landlord's written approval to make the fix but she was unavailable at the time and they agreed to come back another day and waive the $75 dispatch fee for the next visit. Mario gave me his direct number so that I would not have to go through the main office (the scheduling system is a bit of a headache) to reschedule his visit. Mario was super flexible with our schedule and handled the fixes quickly and easily. I would give four stars because Magnolia was pretty expensive (600 for the two drains 75 dispatch fee- look online for promo coupons though!!) but Mario himself was great so I kept the review at 5 stars. Mario worked efficiently, thoroughly and was detail oriented. The job was done well and I'm pleased with his service. This was a complete flange replacement on a toilet in a huge condo building and I especially appreciated the approach he offered so that we did not have to enter the apartment below mine.

I had a leak under my sink coming from a water purifier that I wasn't even using. It was horrible and Jermaine identified the problem immediately and not only fixed the leak but removed the purifying equipment altogether. Jermaine was so knowledgable about plumbing and all types of equipment and helped with other questions I needed answered. I am calling to make another appointment and asking for Jermaine directly. Russ from Magnolia Plumbing came out and fixed our Boiler. We originally had Cropp Metcalfe come out (I have a maintenance contract with them) and they quote me around $2k to fix, and to replace $6-8k. Mario and his assistant were at my home on Wednesday to replace a garbage disposal and investigate a slow drain. From start to finish, they were polite, professional, and extremely proficient.
