Tan Cao was the technician for a major HVAC problem at my home. He was very professional and explained all the issues and alternatives available to me. I was very pleased to understand the problem, and he offer several suggestions to improve system performance. He also checked with me regularly about recommendations for the system (e.g., cleaning, filter replacement) before taking action. I was pleased with his timeliness, conduct and ultimately the success of the repairs. I recommend Mr. Cao for any HVAC problems and will call Magnolia next time I need service or repair.

Had a really excellent service experience with Saeid and his helper. They were prompt, courteous, and resolved my issue quickly. Saeid was very knowledgeable about my extra tricky Aquatherm unit. They were also very respectful of my home and put booties on before walking on the wood floor.

Sam M. was the HVAC tech sent out to do my AC tune up. He was so great, super friendly, and explained everything so I could understand it. I was leery about using a large company instead of a smaller one, but I had a coupon for the tune up so I called them. It was so easy to make an appt and they came out in a couple of days. He charged me for the actual price on my coupon and never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. I will call them for all my HVAC and plumbing needs in the future. Please employ more people like Sam and the negative reviews about Magnolia that are online will quickly change to positive ones! Sam is a real asset to Magnolia.

Had then out for a routine inspection. While my ac unit is older it works great. They gave me an abused list of things that needed to be fixed. I happened to have another contractor at my house working on something else who pulled me aside to tell me he was listening to what the hvac techs were saying and warned me they were likely going to tell me things were wrong that weren’t. Mysteriously my ac unit stopped working that afternoon. It’s hard for me to say it’s a coincidence...

I have left a more elaborate review on yelp.com of my service from May 7, 2018. The level of professionalism was a bitter disappointment. I was clearly taken advantage of during this service. There was a complete mess left behind and significant water damage to a few storage boxes close to the hvac unit. Today May 9, 2018 I received emails confirming my service appointment from Monday, the "team" that would be taking care of my service request, and an email for this review. I have contacted Magnolia on three different occasions since Monday and have yet to hear anything regarding this mater. I will never recommend this company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB accordingly.

When scheduling an appointment I asked for an estimate for a disposal install and was told it was impossible to get a quote until a service technician was on site. I told them I already had the part and it was a straight install but was still told I couldn't get a quote before the technician came out to "review" the issue. When the technician arrived they immediately said it would cost $400 without even looking at the disposal. I'm sure they do this because they don't want people to shop around, but i think it's an unfair business practice. Install itself took less than 30 minutes and the tech was very professional. $400 for 30 minutes of work is a tough pill to swallow.

Magnolia Plumbing was prompt in sending a plumber out when I couldn’t stop the hot water from running in my shower. The plumber, Darrell Laskey, quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to get the parts to fix my ancient 1949 era fixtures. He even found a toilet seat that fit better than the one we had tried to replace. Everyone at Magnolia was polite and helpful and I will absolutely call this company again if I have a plumbing problem.

Regret that our 2nd service experience with Magnolia was disappointing. Having purchased an HVAC contract last November, we felt like victims of "bait and switch" tactics this morning when advised that our 2nd AC unit was not part of the original agreement. Our confidence level fell further due to doubts in the repair options/recommendations made to address Freon leaks in what has been prior to this visit AC equipment in good condition. We'll be seeking other HVAC maintenance options.

Carlos Reed is a superb technician for Magnolia. A true professional. He performed a very important job fixing my broken HVAC system very efficiently. He responded to my service call on Sunday, quickly identified the problem, and took immediate action to solve the problem. He obtained the new part within one business day and returned to install the part the next day. The system is now operational. Carlos was a pleasure to work with. I am not sure what happened during my conversation with the individual with whom I initially spoke. When my call was answered, before I spoke with the individual with whom I discussed the service contract, I asked if Magnolia fixed appliances. I was given the answer yes. Based on that I went forth with the discussion about scheduling a repair appointment. The service contract was discussed and somehow (perhaps my fault), I went forth with the service contract with the idea that appliances would be covered, as well as HVAC and plumbing. When the repair person arrived, he checked the dishwasher and diagnosed what he thought might be the issue. When I asked him about repairing it, he told me that Magnolia did not repair appliances and that I would have to have someone else do the job. Needless to say, I was surprised, given that my initial question before I started the process was to ask about appliance repair. I am requesting a cancelation of the service agreement and crediting of my credit card. I was informed that I would be hearing about a solution to this situation, before the end of this day, or by tomorrow. I appreciate being contacted about the resolution.

The service tech was very good and responded on time, that's where it ended, estimate for replacing a standard 1/2 in. pressure balance and a 1/2 in. shutoff valve was double what another company had given, so I called the other company. Don't know why Magnolia Plumbing charges so much more then some other companies, if money is not important to you, use them, otherwise use a company with free estimates and reasonable pricing, hope this helps someone. We had a great experience with Magnolia at each step: quick phone call returning my online inquiry; service rep came to my house the next day to look at the situation, explain what was needed, and give me an estimate; work scheduled and completed just a couple of days later. It wasn't the simplest project, required running new electric, a new gas line, and creating new vents to the outside. Carlos and Jose arrived on time, got the work done and walked us through it, and cleaned the place up before they left. It's only been a day but the new hot water heater is working like a charm.

On March 3, 2018 Mr. Saeid Fotouri came to repair my heating system which had been working for only half of my house.He explained what was the problem and how he would fix it. He spent almost whole day to work on the heating system, including replacing the expansion tank this required that he had to return the next day. But the heating was still not working completely . So, he came back for the third time and finally succeeded to resolve the problem.I am fully satisfied with his work and will be happy to call for his service again should the occasion arises.

He was knowledgeable in assessing the issue with my heat pump system, and laid out a clear plan for fixing the problem. He also gave me some good pointers for maintaining my system. I am glad to have my heat back in my home, and I am glad I called Magnolia to fix the problem. As an added bonus, I was chatting about plumbing issues I had, and Carlos scheduled a Magnolia plumbing specialist to come give a free visual inspection of my home. Pasquale showed up at the same time as the scheduled for repair of my heat pump, which allowed me to maximize the time I was away from my office to deal with home issues. Pasquale was also very helpful in walking me through his recommendations, and talking through some of the easier things I could do on my own. The Magnolia team came through for me today, and solved both my heating and plumbing issues in a couple of hours.
