Luis Sanchez was wonderful. He was patient with my questions and eager to share his knowledge. He did not just checked on the furnace in my house but explained the basic of its operations and what to watch for in case of any troubles. Great and professional service. After he made his first assessment, he regularly kept us updated about the part that he had to order before the final appointment was set. We appreciated that very much. I had a problem with my furnace and I contacted HomeSmart customer service from Xcel Energy. Luis S. was the person that came to inspect everything. He told me that he had a part to locate for the furnace and that he would be in contact with me. He called me multiple times with updates and that I was very impressed with his attentiveness and professionalism. After that, an appointment was set and Luis came to remove the old motor. He cleaned everything and looked at every part to make sure that it was okay. Right now, the furnace works as well as it did when it was new. Luis knows what he is doing! He's professional and left my house the way he found it. He made sure I was satisfied with the work and went the extra mile to make sure my furnace was no only working 100% but it was clean. He took all the parts that had pet hair and grease caked on and cleaned them up with soap and water. The work area was spotless when he left. We left for the weekend and when we came home there was no heat. We called HomeSmart and they responded promptly. Our technician Randy B. listened to our story and went to work. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and when the parts arrived he returned and finished the repair. He also took time to explain the repair and suggested some heating tips. The Home Smart operator who took my call late on a Friday afternoon explained they were booked up for Sat. but explained options to solve my "no heat" problem. HomeSmart from Xcel Energy has been a great investment. I phoned to have the annual inspection of the furnace, scheduled it for today. There was an appointment window established, the Tech would be here between 8:00 AM and Noon. The Tech, Danny S., phoned at 7:30 to advise me he would be arriving at 8:00. Danny S. arrived promptly at 8:00, and immediately went to work. The first thing he checked was the filter and pointed out that the wrong size filter had been installed. I ordered a replacement filter to arrive in two days. Danny S. continued his inspection and okay'd the furnace. He also inspected the water heater next to the furnace when he heard dripping. He pointed out to me that there was a leak in the flex-line and it was dripping into the pan. Danny S. repaired the leak and all costs were covered by HomeSmart.

I was really unhappy that HomeSmart didn't respond to my calls, e-mails, etc. to have my AC fixed. It was so very hot and we were hiding out in the basement. My calls kept getting dropped and I had no communication with them at all for 1 1/2 weeks. I finally got through and Danny S. came to fix my AC.
Danny went to extraordinary measures to get my AC fixed that day. He had to leave and drive to Santa Fe and Evans to get a part (during rush hour) and was working at my house until 6:30 p.m. I believe this went above and beyond and I was very appreciative.
Danny S. has also fixed my furnace and checked it for winter weather. I feel more confident that my house will be warm all winter because I like Danny and trust the job he does. Danny S. 11/09/19 |

Danny S. was super great. He did not mind me sitting there watching him and asking him questions while he tuned up my furnace. He explained everything and even fixed a small gas leak coming from the shutoff valve for my gas dryer, Which was not even part of his responsibility but he went ahead and checked for gas leaks anyway that was super nice of him.
